About Me
Hello, my name is Bukola, I am married and have 2 wonderful children of my own ages 6 and 2 years old.I am an ofsted registered childminder.. I am a fun,bubbly, caring, warm, diciplined and pro-active person who loves a challenge and enjoys working with children.
My aim is to help children develop their individuality and confidence through the 7 areas of learning in the Early years, through play, listening, talking, sharing skills whilst still having fun. I have an abundance of toys, art materials, musical instruments, games, use of monitored computer, and lots of other play equipment to suit all ages of which I alternate day by day. I daily take the children on outdoor visits to local parks, libraries, museums, fun shops, and children's centres.
I prepare and serve nutritional meals and snacks for the minded children.
I communicate verbally to the parents on how their child's day has been and also offer a daily journal with photos attached via email on a regular basis. I also send photo's to parents via my mobile on a regular basis, as I understand that leaving your child for the first time can be a daunting experience and by doing this, it puts the parents at ease as they can get an idea of how their child(ren)' s day is going.
My Experience
Besides having children of my own i also have many years of experience working as a Nuresery Nurse with a very good nursery.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 3
Paediatric first aid trained
• Safeguarding: Child protection trained
• Early Years Foundation Stage trained (including Tracking Children's Development, Learning through Play and Characteristics of Effective Learning)
• I'm a member of the Professional Association for Childcare & Early Years Practitioners (PACEY).
• CRB-checked
• I attend regular training on many other aspects of childcare in order to develop my knowledge further
My Availability
I work Monday to Friday between 7.30 to 6.00pm , I am very flexible to suit different parents needs, earlier starts and later evenings can be discussed. I am also available for school Holidays. I offer pick ups and drop offs at Rockmount.

We have been leaving our son with Bukola since he was 12 months old and he loves his time with her. He has been there 6 months at the time of writing. They have a great relationship, Bukola clearly plays with the children in her care and gets big smiles from them. She does take him to the library, parks, soft play and out in the garden. Bukola has been flexible and understanding when our work patterns changed and she is a lovely person to deal with. Would highly recommend.

We have been leaving, for full time (5 days a week, 8am to 7pm), our son, since he was 3 months old, to Bukola and are very happy of it!
She has been flexible and understanding with us and our situations. She communicates easily each time how Victor felt and what he did during the day.
Bukola is a responsible and trustworthy childminder, with strong morals, which matters a lot to us for our child.
She developed bonds of trust with Victor, thing we notice more and more with time and that is a relief and joy for us, seeing our son happy and evolving more than well, in a loving and caring environment like this one.
In one word, we do recommend Bukola as a childminder, to take care of children of any age, even the youngest!
