About Me
I love working with children and always have done, I have 2 daughters of my own, Libby 24 and Hettie 26 we have 3 cats as our family pet, I have a play room and 2 other down stairs rooms that I can use for childminding as well as a good sized garden with lots of toys to suit all, and give the children the chance to explore, we like to be outside and explore the natural environment spending a lot of our day in the fresh air developing our learning through play.
I believe if a child feels safe, secure and is happy they will thrive and meet their potential through fun exploration and learn without even realizing it.
My daughter Libby is registered as my assistant and helps out as and when required.
Libby also has a level 3 in childcare and works at a local pre-school.
My Experience
I have been registered with Ofsted for 20years. ( may 25)
In my most recent Ofsted inspection 20th February 2023 I maintained my GOOD grading. Making this my 5th consecutive GOOD grading.
I am committed to further training to improve my knowledge all the time, I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, and work with other settings that your children may attend to ensure that they are meeting their fullest potential and all needs are being meet.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 diploma in home based childcare , first aid, food hygiene , safeguarding level 3 safeguarding level 4 DSL, health and safety, fire safety. I regularly do training to update my knowledge in different areas. I am a network childminder and I provide the government funded childcare.
Staff also do training so their knowledge is up to date and meets requirements.

Happy to work long / short days the hours that suit your individual needs no minimum amount needed. But I do recommend a 4 hour session so that the children have time to settle and then play.
I open at 7.30am and close 6.30 latest.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
I charge £7.50 per hour, all groups and outings are included in my hourly rate, and if required will provide a food this cost will be discussed with you. No hidden extras!!
I offer the funding for all ages.

- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Ashley Infant School

My son has been going to Gina for about a year now, from when he was about 15 months. From the beginning, I have felt totally comfortable when he is there and I don't worry about anything. Gina keeps me up to date with my son's development, tailors to all of his needs which aren't always straightforward! Her household is relaxed, fun but also with appropriate boundaries set so I feel confident that my son is getting the best of everything. I couldn't recommend Gina more!

Gina and her family are highly recommeded. The love and dedication they gave to my daughter was outstanding. Gina is highly organised and always puts the children first. She will try and help you whenever needed. I have always been concerned leaving my children with anyone but I totally trust my children with her.

My daughter (21 months) has been going to Gina since July and is absolutely thriving. She's a very shy and sensitive little lady and Gina has done an amazing job making us and her feel comfortable and happy with the setting. Gina goes out of her way to make sure we are kept updated with contact throughout the day which we love and is always keeping the children happy and entertained with lots of arts and crafts, garden play and singing & dancing. My daughter has come out of her shell so much and loves going to see Gina and play with her friends. She's learning so much and we couldn't be happier! Absolutely recommend Ginas Childcare to anyone!

Gina looked after my son for a very long time. My son loved every minute of it. He learnt so much and when he was ready for pre school Gina will tell u and not keep your child for the sake of it. The learning and fun they have it's brilliant and very well prepared for school. highly recommend to everyone. Thank u Gina

Gina is a very friendly childminder. My daughter has been going to Gina for a year, she's never once given any problems when i drop her off and she loves going. Gina's house has lots of space for the children to play and a great garden with lots of toys.
