Personal Assistant Role/ Carer Role for 17 year with cerebral palsy.
We are looking for one or more PA/carers for our 17 year old daughter who is a wheelchair user and has cerebral palsy. We already employ PAs and are looking to have others who can work extra hours preferably over the weekend and school holidays. We are particularly interested in covering the summer holiday. Special needs experience or experience as a carer is not mandatory but welcomed. We are looking for someone dynamic, fun, reliable and professional to spend time with our daughter and support her on outings eg shopping, cinema, theatre, bowling etc.
There will be personal care needs involved and training can occur on the job. The position is paid at £13 per hour, funded through direct payments.
