About Me
I have got two children, my daughter who is 18 and my son who is 14 years old and our dog who is very child friendly. Myself and my husband both love children.
I have a friendly and learning environment that is fun through play and beneficial activities. I have a wide range of creative art and craft items, toys....
I have a lovely house with a nice and good size garden, three good size lovely play rooms, its close to the park, playground and library.
Very flexible to each child’s individual needs. Regularly visit the local childminding groups and toddler groups. Children in my care are given the opportunity to choose activities to encourage play to aid development in all areas.
I arrange a short trips and picnics, etc for your children by walk or car.
I am flexible which is benefits to parents who work shifts or just looking for part time care. I always have free healthy snacks available for your kids.
My overall aim is to provide for children in my care to feel at home, have fun and learn at their own pace.

All religions and cultures are welcome.
School Pick-up:
Kempston Rural Lower School; Bedford Road Lower School; for other school please ask.
Drop off / Collection is Available.
Facilities:
Arts/Crafts: Many different resources available for children to be creative.Painting, gluing, model making, play dough, drawing…
Computers: PC and laptop are available for children to use and I also have a Wii and a digital camera.
Meals: occasionally I can provide meals for a charge or alternatively I am happy for parents to provide the pack lunch.
Garden: Large garden with lots of play opportunities.
Playroom: entrance room, two main room, kitchen, bathroom and garden is dedicated to childminding.
Visits/Outings: Forest Centre, woods, shops, parks, Kids World, river, safari park , swimming, library etc.
My Experience
I am originally a computer engineer and I was an IT manager for 6 years; due to giving birth to my lovely daughter and love being around childrenI left my computer job some 18 years ago.
I've got over 5 years experience in leading and assistance in Bedford Family Groups and children centre Crèches which look after multicultural family needs and I also worked with mothers who attend the Family Groups.
I've registered myself with OFSTED as a Childminder since 2008 and fully insured.

Leila is simply the best. My child was with her from one year old to four years. My daughter always wants to go to her. She is always happy and full of smilies whenever she goes to Leila.
She did not want to leave Leila now that she has to go to school.
Leila is welcoming and kind. I felt relaxed all the time that my daughter was with her. I will always bring my children to her to look after. Thank you!

Leila is a lovely childminder, very kind and patient with our baby girl, who can be a bit of a nightmare! Her support staff are all lovely too.
She takes the children for days out and does all kinds of activities with them. I’ve had many lovely crafts brought home for me too. She even threw a mini party for our daughters birthday!
I would have continued to use Leila for many years if it wasn’t for a change in our circumstances. I know my daughter will miss her time spent there.
Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a home from home environment and someone you can trust.

leila and her team had our little babe girl from the age of one, and I have to say I could bt reccomend a better place... Education, is key,routine, so hygienic..kids are well kept, lots of activities and out door play, sensory, walks and exploring.. simply the best... This is my second child and I have to say you previous child went nursery Banamba moon and Aristotots... This one is the BEST. Leila is sooooo accomodating and the staff are so friendly..we gutted to be leaving (moving) please check out happy feet excellent child care service x

Leila is really the best of the best. She is very professional, polite and has done a superb job at creating such a fun, homelike and child-friendly setting for all the children in her care. The service we received from Happy Feet has been impressive throughout - our two children absolutely loved it there and are going to miss Leila and the team so much!

Having four children I have experienced a lot of child care settings. I can honestly say that she exceeded my expectations and other (outstanding) childminders I have previously used. Genuinely the best and most honest childminder you could have.
If you want a childminder who treats your child as if they were your own, she is the childminder for you.
She has helped my youngest thrive mentally, physically and educationally.
She is kind and caring, always putting the children’s needs first.
Always occupying their minds and time.
My youngest daughter loved her child care setting and thought of Leila as a second mother. What more could you want?

My son attended Happy Feet for 1 year and left only because he has gone to primary school. During his time at Happy Feet he enjoyed himself, took part in many activities including trips out, he was always happy to go in the morning and enjoyed the days there. He took part in group activities as well as 1 to 1 activities with the staff, which helped him to develop, learn and prepare for school. I always felt confident my son was safe and well looked after. There was also a degree of flexibility in times, if needed due to my work commitments. I would recommend Happy Feet.

My God... End Of An Era for my baby boy Frankie. No more nursery at Happy Feet as it is time for to fly the nest and start Reception at Primary School!!
It was so emotional to say goodbye to Frankies tutors. They have been absolutely fantastic and I can't thank them enough!! Happy Feet Childcare is beyond amazing. It's a very small setting which we loved as his allows much more one to one learning and playing with the little ones.
Myself and my husband sent him there after a bad experience with another nursery. We were fed up of Frankie coming home looking homeless and constantly sick. Not only this but he didn't appear to be learning anything. Happy Feet exceeded all our expectations. Not only do they have an Outstanding Ofsted, they are very strict on hygiene. All the students have their own hand towels in the bathroom and only wear house slippers indoors. They go on many trips encouraging them to be active and always have a healthy snack time which is always displayed to the parents what the will be having on the notice board when you enter the nursery.
So kind, caring and positive I know Frankie will miss them dearly as will we. I cannot recommend them enough. A special thankyou to Leila ( the owner) for being there for all of us through the rough times. Home life was a struggle at times due to my health declining and a difficult pregnancy however, Leila was extremely accommodating and did her very best to keep things normal for my son.
This is not a goodbye infact... this is a see you very soon when we return for our daughter.

My son went to Leila for about a month and would have stayed longer if we hadn't moved. It was a good introduction for him as his first experience of going to a childminder and it was nice to see pictures of him exploring in the garden. Leila is very friendly, was good at making sure we did settling in before he started and by the end he seemed to be comfortable to go to her and much calmer so hopefully he will be happy going to a childminder again now that we've moved house.
