Amazing Childminder

My little boy has been going to Mary’s for the last 3 months now and I can not believe the change in him. He used to hate going to nursery crying and clinging on to me with a bad experience but now when I drop him off he’s not even fazed I’m leaving he just loves it with Mary. Hand on heart I wouldn’t be without Mary now she is so good with the little ones, she is calm, patient, attentive and has a heart of gold and the little ones just love her.

I would highly recommend Mary to any parent without a doubt.

Life saver

If it wasn't for mary, I'd have never of finished my nursing degree!
She's been more than accommodating, flexible, and forever on standby when I needed her, the care and compassion she's given has been out of this world! I'll be for ever great full for what she has done for me.and mh.daughter! Looking after her from just 4 weeks, which broke my heart, but it was like passing her to family!

Best decision I’ve ever made

When I got a new job I knew straight away I wanted to take my son out of nursery and start him with a childminder.. and wow… I didn’t realise at the time how that would of been the best decision I ever could have made. I walked into Mary’s home and knew instantly that this is where my son will be, he walked in and made himself right at home. It took him months and months to get him used to going into nursery, and with Mary, he was comfortable within 3 days.

One of the first conversations I had with Mary was the worry I had over our sons speech, he’s nearly 2 and would say minimal words which my health visitors and the staff at his nursery said may be an issue. After a week of being with Mary he came home a new boy, all of a sudden he’s saying so many more things and he is so much more confident.

I could talk for pages and pages about Mary, and how amazing she is, but really you’ll only understand once you meet her

Don't know what I would do without her...

I don't know what I would do without her. Mary has been a shining light for my little one. My son joined puffy clouds at 8months old and has been shown such kindness and support to grow into such a budding little character. Mary works really hard at developing a clear transition from home to nursery with clear boundaries that I would have at home. Austin loved going everyday and was able to gain so many valuable experiences from age related play sessions, playgroups and interaction with other children. I am so comfortable leaving him in Mary's care, she creates a home from home environment and shows genuine care and affection. Mary has been so flexible to my return to work, making things alot calmer and easier for me particularly with my other half working away from home for long periods. Would highly recommend!!!!

Superwoman

We are so lucky to have found Mary to look after our little boy. As a first time mum I was super nervous about leaving him but Mary put our minds at ease so quickly and we have complete trust in her. Mary helped Charlie with lots of settling in sessions and built up such a great rapport with him so quickly. Charlie is so happy when he is with her and has learnt so much in his time at Mary’s. She really is a home from home and Charlie gets so excited on the steps up to Mary’s, when I pick him up he often wants to stay longer..! He really has come along in so many developmental points and his speech especially is great. Mary takes the children to lots of groups throughout the week and it’s great to see him mixing with other ages of children. It has made returning to work so much easier knowing we have found the right place for him and knowing that when I drop him off he loves seeing Mary and her family. Mary is a kind and warm lady with a heart of gold. I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Amazing!

My little girl Emma has been staying with Mary full time since she was 12 weeks old. She is there every day all day and loves it. Mary also looked after her a few times when she was only 6 weeks old and she is now just over a year old and is always very excited whenever she sees Mary. It was very difficult for me to go back to work full time and Mary made it all a lot easier. She is amazing and so helpful. She is always available and very knowledgeable. Emma has learnt a lot there and she is always tired and happy from her busy dayes. I can only highly recommend Mary.

Simply the Best!

Mary is quite simply awesome and I could not do without her. She is a brilliant childminder and my two children, a boy aged 2, nearly 3 years and daughter aged 6 1/2 years, love going to her home (in fact they are disappointed on the days when they are not going to Marys!).

The most important thing to me about Mary is her ability to make my children feel at home, and as Millie's mum has already said, Mary's is a 'home from home', where the children feel welcome, safe and loved.

Mary has looked after my children since the Summer 2014, when I returned to work full time as a Police Officer due to separating from my husband. Mary has been fantastic at helping my children to feel settled despite having to accommodate my unsociable and ever changing shift pattern. She is always understanding if I am late off work and has never let me down, despite what ever else life has thrown at her.

Mary primarily looks after my 2 year old son, whose development has come on leaps and bounds since being with her. He has hit all of his development milestones and exceeded many. Mary has every toy conceivable and comes up with so many fun ideas for the children to play, as well as taking them to toddler group and on days out. I love that all the children of different ages interact so well and it is very much like an extended family.

Mary very much has the same idea as me with regards to manners, discipline and the children learning responsibility. This is not only reflected in Mary's own two children, who are both lovely, polite and well mannered, but also in my children's development. Mary's eldest child (and husband on occasion!) also babysits for me and, like his mother is fantastic with children. He is a very mature and responsible young man who has been invaluable to me often at very short notice.

Mary is quite simply, 'The Best'!

Totally amazing with my girls

Mary had my 3 girls for just over a year and a half, she has been amazing in the helping the transition of my twins going from toddlers to preschool and helping them get ready for starting school. She was great picking up my eldest from school and keeping her entertained through learning based play.

At half terms and during the summer Mary would often take the girls out on day trips and come home with "master pieces" that they have made!

The setting is great with a great range of toys and the set up is lovely, the girls were also introduced to different kinds of pets which they also grew attached to (especially rocky the tortoise!) there's nothing I could fault with anything! She's understanding when we've been late in rare occasions, had the patience of a saint when the twins were going through toilet training, this lady can deal with it all and still end the day with a smile!

Perfect childminder :)

My daughter Millie Anne has only been seeing Mary for a few months but she really loves it. Mary provides a home from home service and is fantastic with my little girl. I drop Millie off with no hesitation that she will be cared for in everyway possible and there are no dramas when I leave, I pick her up later in the day and I sometimes think she would prefer to stay there. Mary often goes out with the children she looks after but when at home she provides every kind of toy a child could want to play with all in a very loving and secure home. I only have good things to say about her family too, they have taken a real shine to my daughter as she has to them and I couldn't ask for anything else. The bond between Millie and Mary is great and I know that over the years this will continue to grow. Mary is highly recommended by myself, I have absolutely no concerns about my child's happiness and safety.
