About Me
I am a mother, with teaching qualifications, currently working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in a primary school. I have recently earned a Diploma in Special Educational Needs, which is a field I am passionate about. I believe that children love to learn, especially when the learning process starts with play. My greatest reward is witnessing their achievements. I enjoy outings, visits to museums, farms and playing lots of fun games with the children in my care.
My Experience
I have more than 20 years of experience working with children. My journey began as an au pair, followed by roles as a nanny, and I currently work as a HLTA while taking on occasional nannying jobs. I have experience caring for children from birth to 13 years old, including working with newborns and children with special needs. I am first aid trained and hold an up-to-date DBS certificate. Qualified Teacher Status, HLTA, First Aid trained, NASEN, up-to-date DBS and Diploma in SEN.
My Availability
I am available to work as an after-school nanny. However, since my day job ends at 4 PM, I can only start from 4:30 PM onwards. I also offer babysitting services during the evenings, on weeknights, and weekends. Additionally, I provide tutoring in Math and English for primary school students up to Year 6, in the afternoons or on weekends.
