About Me
I live in the Aigburth area not far from the local train station. I live with my husband and 1of my sons. The ground floor of my home is available for the children to use and has a dedicated toy room. I have an outside garden area that is utilised all year round.
My Experience
I have been an Ofsted Registered childcare provider since January 2003. I work on a term time basis only. My aim is to provide children from birth to 11 years old with a safe and nurturing environment so that they may learn through their play. We are very much community based visiting local, parks, museums, libraries. We do also go further afield and visit farms, southport, ice cream factory etc. I work within the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework to provide the children with rich enabling learning opportunities. Since Covid has impacted all our lives I have reflected on the activities I have provided for the children and have stopped visiting playgroups and play centres. The children have enjoyed being outside so much more, having the freedom to run about in open spaces, explore the woodland, climb trees. We take our books with us, paint in the woods, sing while we are out, chase bubbles, play games, make things out of the things we find. In all honesty when we come out of this pandemic I doubt that I will be visiting indoor toddler groups anymore.

I have attended many other training courses over the last years and do weekly webinar training sessions
My Availability
I have availability Tuesday to Friday at present.
I also have a place for a school drop off and possibly a pick up from either Sudley infant or junior school.
