About Me
My name is Meachel and I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Islington (N7)
I have over 10 years experience of working with children 0 - 14 years. I am central to the following: Highbury, Drayton Park and Holloway stations. I am also walking distance from Paradise Park, Freightliners City Farm, a local library and Highbury Park.
I currently work with my sister Lisa, who is my registered assistant. We offer a warm, loving, homely environment to all children in our care. Our daily routine includes arts and crafts, trips to local stay and plays, libraries, parks, London zoo and many other adventurous trips.
All my fees include healthy balanced meals and snacks.
I can do school pickups from: Canonbury and St Mary Magdalene Primary

As a new young mum I was really anxious about leaving my newborn baby with anyone. I contacted Meachel and from the very first day we met I knew everything will be okay! She has looked after my daughter from 4 months old she was tiny from being born premature but Meachel and her sister looked after her like their own she is now nearly two years old and she has grown and developed so much. She knows numbers, letters and her speech is amazing. Meachel has really been a big part of my daughters life and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. My daughter is excited every morning to go to Meachel and I don’t worry I feel nothing but peace when I’m away from her I can’t thank her enough they have become family. We will choose Meachel every time for my future children!

I've been with Meachel for over 2 years and started with my eldest daughter and now she is with my youngest son who is Autisic. Meachel is so caring, understanding and caters to each of my children's needs. As well as my own. I'm very happy and feel assured that my children are safe with her. She helps them with homework and my children trusts her with any issues they have and i'm happy she can build that bond with them . I would highly recommend her as I have been through many other child minders and they only cared about payment and not my children's needs but Meachel honestly cares for my children's needs and if there any issues she will communicate with me and help find ways to resolve it. I am so happy I found her and during my course of being with her I have built a good friendship with her.

Meachel has looked after my son for about six months and we couldn't ask for a better childminder. She's incredibly professional and communicates clearly about any concerns, holidays, etc.--and is quick to respond to questions. I'm a first-time mum and appreciate her help when I'm not sure if baby is ill or just teething--she's seen it all before and helps put my mind at ease. Most importantly, our son loves her and is excited to see her in the morning!

“Meachel has been looking after our daughters for the past two years. My children are five and three. Our youngest has been with her from the age of 9 months. I couldn’t have chosen a better minder for them. As a working mother knowing that Meachel is there for my girls is the next best thing to being there myself. Her calm, friendly, easy going manner and the fact that she so clearly cares deeply for the children she looks after ranks her highly above all. She creates a safe, happy and stimulating environment into which I am confident to entrust them. I have always found Meachel to be incredibly helpful, supportive and flexible and I’m very happy to recommend her to other parents seeking a childminder.
