Job Description: Nanny / Carer for Children

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced individual to join our family as a nanny/carer for our two children, a 4-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy. The 4-year-old has global development delay and is non-verbal, but she is gradually making progress with therapy.

The boy is currently in year 3 and attends local primary school close to home.

Responsibilities:
- Transporting the children: You will be responsible for picking up and dropping off the children at various locations.
- Morning routine: Arriving at our residence by 8:00am and ensuring that both children are ready for their day.
- Nursery and school drop-offs: By 8:30am, you will need to transport the children to their respective locations. This commute can take up to an hour due to the location, but both the nursery and school are in Chelmsford.
- Afternoon routine: In the afternoon, you will pick up the 4-year-old girl from nursery at 11:30am and bring her home for a meal. Afterward, you will accompany her to ABA therapy before 1:00pm, where the parents will take over.
- School pick-up: At 3:15pm, you will pick up the 8-year-old boy from school.
- Parental involvement: Occasionally, the parents will join in the school run to stay involved in their children's lives.
As we predominantly work from home but occasionally like once a week go to office

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (preferably owned by the candidate) due to the limited availability of public transportation in the channels/Beaulieu area of Chelmsford.
- Experience with working with children with special needs, specifically with global development delay.
- Genuine interest and passion for working with children.
- Commitment: We require a minimum commitment of three months.
