About Me
Hi I'm Debbie Williams registered childminder based in Gwersyllt near Wrexham. I live with my husband Gwyn whose is my registered assistant. We are registered (when working together) for 10 children under 12 years of age, with no more than 6 under school age at any one time. We have two older sons and a daughter who live locally with their wives/partner and two grandsons.
We live in a large four bed roomed house at the end of a cul de sac offering amply parking for when you drop off and collect your child. We have a large enclosed rear garden laid with artificial turf allowing the children can play safely all year.
My Experience
I have been working within the childcare sector since 1991 when my own children were small. At first I was a registered childminder for 12 years following this I went to work as a project manager for the National Childminding Association now called PACEY. I was unfortunately made redundant after 10 years and in 2012 took the decision to become registered as a childminder for the second time. I am also the Chair of St Mary's Pre School Playgroup and take an active role in the running of the business, being responsible for it continued performance within the local area.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ level 3 in early years care and education along with various other training relevent to being a childminder including paediatric first aid, basic food hygiene and safeguarding.
Gwyn has completed the CYPOP training and holds paediatric first aid training.
I have cared for children with additional needs and I'm happy to attend training to ensure the best care is offered to the child. I currently care for a child with Downs Syndrome
My Availability
I work a full week from 7am - 5.30pm alternative times are available if required. I have 6 weeks annual leave per year, however parents are given my leave dates in January.
I am registered to care for children overnight this would need to be discussed at the initial meeting

- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
Full Time hours 08.00 - 17.00 = £47.50
Before school £7.50 per hour or part hour

What a wonderful setting for children to spend their days and develop. Our child attended 2/3 days a week and settled in almost instantly. Debbie is extremely friendly and has years of experience that is clear to see. She gives a relaxed, supportive space for children to grow and develop with a safe space that any parent would be more than happy with. During her time there my LO played inside and out, going in the swimming pool in warm weather, being creative each day making things and learning about growing plants and going out for days out.
I honestly can't recommend her enough. A brilliant setting with peace of mind. Our LO even mastered potty training whilst there!

My little boy Jack has been with Debbie and Gwyn Williams (Robbins Nest) since he was 2 years old and I couldn't be happier. Lovely couple, kind and completely trustworthy, treats the childrens like they are they own. They home is beautiful and always immaculate. Debbie cooks healthy, nutritions meals and manages to get Jack to eat pretty much anything, despite him being fussy at home. They have a lovely playroom full of toys well as a garden where the children can play. They take them out to the park, zoo and groups where they can meet and play with other children. I would highly recommend Robbins Nest to anyone ❤
