My Requirements

Looking for fun, caring, reliable nanny/nanny-housekeeper near Romsey for minimum 15 hours over 3 days (Mon-Wed) to look after our son aged 12 and daughter aged 9, and help with pre and post school care including driving them to and from school (Romsey). Must like dogs! Needs to be able take initiative on day to day child care needs, planning and activities. Start Jan 2025 but can be negotiated for the right person. Hours can be increased and flexible if housekeeping appeals!!

Hours would be approx 07.00 - 10.30 (inc to help with odd errand and bit of shopping/kids meal planning etc) and 15.30 -18.30 plus optional 3-4 hours babysitting alternate weeks. Hours to cover school drop off and pick up and after school activities/playdates/ home relaxing time plus homework. Hours could include some dog walks please. There is an option for further hours in school holidays, sickness cover, and babysitting. A bit of flexibility is required if an emergency occurs at work or the wonders of traffic delays get in the way and this will obviously be paid.

The emphasis is on fun for the kids in a caring environment at home, and a sociable life with their friends. Also emphasis on healthy, fun, varied diet. Interests should include cooking, arts and crafts, spontaneous fun, sport, dancing/music and playing with an embarrassing large array of toys. A non-smoker please with experience in childcare.

Our 2 children are pretty chilled on the whole and have a vast array of interests to keep the right person entertained. We think they are pretty good company but obviously we are biased! They love cooking, baking, swimming, dancing, sport, playdates, exploring the area, making gifts for people and putting on shows to give just a small insight into their minds. They love food and enjoy a varied diet, and we like to keep them trying new things every week.

We have 2 dogs, Cavapoo called Mabel and a small Cavapoochon called Tilly so a dog lover would be great and hours to include dog walks if wanted.

We have had an amazing 4 years with a past nanny and an incredible year with our last nanny (they will provide you with a ‘family reference’ if required). We believe that it is about us finding someone who is a good fit as much as it is as important for that person to find the right family.
