About Me
I am an ofsted Nanny/home childcarer and I also have a part time cleaning/ironing business. I am very honest, reliable and very patient sort of person. I have never come across a child who hasn't liked me. I have had a childcare job which was evenings and all night. Ofsted inspection was in March 2024, she was very happy with what I do.
My Experience
I worked in baby room at a nursery for 5 years before I started the business in 2010 which i still have now in 2024. I have been babysitting for the last 46 years. I have been an Ofsted Nanny/home childcarer since 2014 for 1 family with 3 children and since 2019 for a family with 2 children which is ending in september 2024 as their hours of work have changed. I am now working with an 11 month old baby on odd times, I also do odd babysitting jobs. I have also looked after a 9 month old (2003) for nearly 2 years while his mom did her shift at the hotel, I then took him to work with me as I did the shift after his mom so she took him from there. Also been volunteer with homestart for 5 years (from 2000) and had numerous babysitting jobs once a week. Experience of babysitting overnight.
My Qualifications
I have 0 level childcare qualifications from when I left school in 1981 and I was an assistant at the nursery for 5 years from 2005 - 2010, i do have excellent references for all the work I have done since I was 18. I have also looked after a policewomans children.
My Availability
I do have cleaning jobs but they can be changed to fit childcare jobs in.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Nannying from £11.44 per hour (gross)
Between £9 and £11.44 an hour depending on how much petrol I pay out at the time and how much work involved eg. children awake in the day but in bed at night.

Julie is great, she relates brilliantly to my son & he simply loves his time with her which says it all. She always thinks of fun & entertaining ways to pass the time, is very trustworthy & reliable, flexible & adaptable with a vast amount of experience as well as being Ofsted registered. She is a lovely lady & I feel lucky to have found her as I never have to worry when my child is in her care.
