About Me
Hi. My name is Louise and I run Happykids childminding. I am an experienced previously Outstanding graded ofsted reg'd childminder in Thornton. I have been a childminder for 16years and also worked in an outstanding childrens nursery for the previous 4 years. I have 3 wonderful grown up children , a lovely house and a large garden. Our motto is Happy kids are busy kids and our children are both . We have our own play room amd sensory room and lots and lots of toys and resources for children of all ages. I follow the early years foundation stage and provide lots of activities to help your child learn and develop. We attend regular toddler groups and enjoy going out and about to parks, play areas , shopping , zoo ,nature walks and much more.
I have excellent references , lots of experience and I am highly qualified with a degree in teaching and learning . Most importantly ,I give lots of loving care and attention to all the children that I care for. I have full and part time places for under 5yrs. I accept childcare vouchers and all government grants/ funding including 2, 3 yr old 15 hours and the extended 30 hour and 9 month old funding. My Experience
I have attained an outstanding grade in my Ofsted inspection Dec 2016 . I have a great deal of experience working with and caring for children both as a childminder and a nursery practitioner . I have also worked as a teaching assistant in a special needs school and as a therapeutically trained foster carer.
I have 16 yrs of childminding experience and a wealth knowledge from caring for lots of different children as well as my own. I have cared for many babies and toddlers as well as school age children,
My Qualifications
BA degree in teaching and learning support .
NVQ 3 in children's care learning and development 0 to 16 yrs,
paediatric first aid,
crb checked,
food hygiene level 2.
teaching assistant level 3 diploma.
Special educational needs level 4 diploma
I have recently gained a level 4 diploma in special educational needs.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.75 per hour
Fullday 8am to 5.30 pm £45.. hours can be flexible to suit your needs (includes all healthy snacks and homemade meals) start time can be from 7.30am if needed and later finish (extra fee )

Finding a child care setting can be so difficult, ensuring you feel comfortable, confident and reassured your little ones are in good hands but Louise meets all that and more! So professional and a smooth transition from a nursery to Louise’s childminding setting after being unhappy with nursery.
The layout and facilities Louise provides is brilliant and the communication throughout the day is outstanding, you will definitely be reassured with her caring nature and knowledge.
My son Arnie is 18 months old and was previously in a nursery, he would come home unhappy and unsettled but today is the first time he has come home in a lovely mood! All down to Louise.

Louise currently looks after my nine months old baby girl Mollie. Mollie has always been a very clingy baby and does not take to people very well. After a couple of meetings with Louise, Mollie took to her very well. Louise now looks after Mollie every friday.
Louise is a lovely person and is extremely good with children. I am very happy leaving Mollie in Louise's care.
