About Me
My name is Nola, mature but not old. I am very small in height, which seems to make me younger in the eyes of children. I have a great understanding of children, snd work hard to get to know their characters? strengths and needs. More importantly I have lots of energy, fun and love to give. I respect parents requests and styles and will follow. Trust, communication and reassurance is very important in a profrofessional relationship with me. I understand the demands on the working family and want to take some pressure off while the children are in my care.
I am early retired and adore children of all ages. I seem to be an adopted Aunty and now granny to many many children over the years.
My Experience
I am qualified in the area of childcare. I am also a parent, grandparent and past foster carer and child minder, leader and advisor to parents and professionals on their parenting and guardian role. My professional carer includes, paediatric nursing, and children's social manager, developer and leader of parenting programmes.
I've lots of experience with babies to teens, and enjoy working with parents too. I am s parenting coach specialist.
The children and families that I currently work with are very happy to give me references. I enjoy being round children as they are with me. I do not want full time work as I have regular family. However I wound like to take on home tutoring for reception and year one.
My Qualifications
One to one private tutor. Specialist early years. Parenting consultant/ support all aspects parenting, child development, behaviour, paediatric Nurse, Paediatric Sleep PractitionerNVQ 4 in Care children and adults.
Adult tutor, Social worker, assessor for students.
My Availability
I am available some time in the week and weekends.
I also babysit and care for children overnight.
I am happy to step in at last minute if available.
I have also helped parents with their children at weddings and other celebrations.

Nola has been looking after our two children for a few months now and we couldn't be happier. She has been fantastic and the children love her! She is patient and always has a game or activity up her sleeve to engage them.
