About Me
I have Early Years Professional Status (EYPS), a degree in Sociology and have been working in this field for the last twenty one years. I have spent many years in a variety of related jobs, but the most rewarding of these have been when I have been involved with children; it is here that I come to life and am full of passion and enthusiasm. I decided that it was time to fulfil my dream of becoming a childminder. Therefore alongside working, I actively studied to become a registered childminder.
My intention with my childminding service is to provide a “home from home” where children in my care will feel calm, happy and stimulated. As someone who has a young family and has worked in the area for many years, I fully appreciate how important it is that children are happy and well cared for in any child care setting for their wellbeing. I also understand the need to provide parents with information and honest feedback regarding their child's day to day routine, including what they have been doing, what they have enjoyed or disliked, how long they have slept (if applicable), what they have eaten and their general behaviour.
My home is in a safe location, surrounded by nearby parks, schools and shops, making it very family orientated. My home has been inspected favourably by the local Authority (Ofsted). I was also passed by the local fire and safety insurance test, ensuring I can provide the very best service to you and your family. I have dedicated rooms which provide a stimulating and safe environment for your little ones to learn, play and develop while having fun in my care.
I hold an enhanced CRB certificate and conformation / certification and references for all of the above will be available for your inspection on visiting my premises.
My Experience
Over the last twenty one years, I have spent many years in a variety of related jobs, where I have equipped myself with skills and gained invaluable experiences that has increased my scope to deal competently with numerous and diverse situations. I have been actively involved in creating effective learning environments, carefully supervising these, creating assessments and evaluating the outcomes of these. For ten years I have been a teaching assistant within a primary school, a deputy for playgroup and my last employment has been at a established children’s centre; here my duties included working with multiagency, family support and collaborating with health professionals.

I understand childcare doesn't always fit into regular 9 to 5 hours so all hours of care will be considered- I offer a flexible working time table that offers wrap around care.
I can offer before school, after school and holiday care.
Babies and younger children are also welcome

Fees are determined by the level of service provided and customised to individual needs at competitive rates.
Hourly, daily and weekly rates are available with concessions for full week or multiple bookings.

The provision Satty provides is outstanding. We could not have been happier with the care she provided for our little girl! Satty created many memorable activities that helped our daughter develop social, academic and emotional skills. The setting is exciting and engaging, and communication has always been clear throughout. Our little one is nearly 5 now and often still speaks of what she has learnt through Satty. She was more than ready for school, which is certainly down to Satty's fantastic input! I truly cannot recommend her enough!

Satty was great. I moved my son from a nursery to her setting as he wasn’t settling well. Within days he was like part of the furniture. He was always happy and smiley and boy was he well fed 😂
Satty prides herself on education, the level in which my son excelled was testament to her dedication to learning. He came on leaps and bounds and for that I am extremely grateful.
My son is off to school in September and I feel because of Satty he is more than ready. I completely recommend x

Satty looks after my 1 year old son and he loves her! He’s so happy to be dropped off in the morning and has a huge smile on his face. She shows him affection and love, like he was her own and her communication is brilliant. He has settled in with her so well, it’s like he’s been there forever!
She listens to how I want him to be cared for and she reassured me about her routine and activities.
I would definitely recommend Satty!

Really impressed with the set-up, so friendly and welcoming. I think every parents main priority is to find a place where their child will feel happy, comfortable and at the same time know their child will be safe and in a surrounding where they can grow and develop. I definitely feel you offer this Satty!!
