About Me
I have been a childminder for 20 years, through hard work & dedication to childminding I received outstanding in 3 of my inspections over 16 years then good in my last inspection due to a change in the grading system. I live in a semi detached house with a functional family room which opens up onto a small enclosed garden for outdoor play.
I offer calm, safe, fun, quality homebased childcare for children under 4.
I have two small dogs who are crate trained and are kept separate from the children they are always supervised if interaction does occur.
I do not provide before & after school care or holiday care for school children over 4.
My Experience
I have 25 years experience in working with children of all ages. I am also a qualified nursey nurse. During this time I have worked as a nanny, a childminders assisstant and have also spent time in private day nurseries. I have been a childminder for over 20 years. During this time I have undertaken many training courses in relation to childcare, child development, health and nutrition.
My setting provides a welcoming, friendly, fun, loving environment for children and their families. We regularly access amenities within the local community, we are lovers of outdoor exploration and play.
Activities at home include art and craft, construction, reading, singing, baking, outdoor play, mindfulness and yoga.
Unlimited patience, cuddles, compassion and kindness is given to each individual child to promote confidence, a sense of belonging and wellbeing. The children are given my undivided attention and time whilst in my care.
I have been working very hard over the last few years to reduce my carbon footprint so recycling and using bio degradable products where possible is part of our daily routine.
I am also very conscious about ultra processed foods so meals & snacks are given from whole foods at meal times as much possible and presented to the children in their true form from an early age.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.25 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
£60 per day 7.45 - 5.30pm earlier or later hours are subject to contract.
