About Me
I have a very calm, caring and patient nature which I believe is of paramount importance when working with children. As well as being organised and having excellent time management skills, I am a very hard working and motivated person.
I live with my husband, 11 month old baby and our bundle of fluff that is our golden doodle. I am extremely close to my family which consists of my mum, dad and two sisters. We are very compassionate people and all work in the childcare industry. I also have 5 nieces and 2 nephews who I absolutely love spending time with.
My passion is to see each individual child progress in their development and I plan a range of activities, both indoors and outdoors, based on their needs to help them to achieve this.
My Experience
I have been in childcare since 2012 from leaving school, within this time I have gained four years experience working within a nursery with children ranging from 3months to 11years old, six years babysitting and more recently 2017-2023 have been nannying for a family in their own home, before going off on my own maternity leave this previous year.
Due to having experience of different age groups and environments I am able to adjust myself to different routines, ages and needs of the children. I am flexible and can adapt to any situation asked of me and I put 100% into each role. I also have experience with SENd, working with children who have autism, speech and language needs, down syndrome and behavioural needs, I worked with these children on a one-one basis in the nursery to ensure they have the opportunity to meet their developmental needs.
My Qualifications
I have a current clean DBS and I am Level 3 qualified.
