About Me
Hi, my name is Louise and I am a qualified Ofsted registered childminder and mother to my 4-year-old daughter. I am located in the wonderful town of Coleshill, with local amenities, such as the high street, park and primary schools within close proximity. My partner, who is a full time Primary School teacher, and I are both DSB checked and I have an up to date paediatric first aid certificate.
My Early Years ethos is one that encourages children to become active learners, allowing them time and space to investigate, using their imagination to discover their surroundings and take their play in their own direction. I believe all children are entitled to receiving exciting and enriching experiences within a learning environment that makes them feel safe, secure and nurtured. I am keen to work in partnership with parents/carers to gain a full picture of a child’s individual needs and interests so that these can be built upon whilst in my care.
I have a sound understanding of the Early Years Curriculum and aim to support the development of all children in my care within the Prime and Specific areas of learning. However, at the forefront of their learning experience is to ensure they have fun, build relationships, develop self-care skills and create memories.
I am able to provide a home from home child care experience and I am very fortunate to offer a home which has a designated play room, conservatory with further play opportunities, a back garden and downstairs toilet facilities. My home is both smoke- free and pet-free.
Throughout the day, children are able to access a wide range of toys such as Lego, Playdough, role play, games, jigsaws and play sets. Alongside this, children will have the opportunity for creative and baking activities as well as making music, singing, dancing and engaging in stories and rhymes. I visit local playgroups, libraries and parks so that the children in my care can interact with others in the community as well as learning about their local surroundings.

My Experience
I have completed all the relevant courses through the local authority and I continue to attend courses to keep up to date.
My Qualifications
I have completed a pacey childminding training course, Preparing to Work in Home-Based Childcare (HBCA). I have an up to date Warwickshire safeguarding qualification and paediatric first aid.
I have worked in the youth service for 15 years and gained many skills and qualifications throughout this time.

Louise is a fantastic childminder and from the moment i met her i knew this was the place i was going to send my little boy.
Louise's house is safe, warm and welcoming. Her daily activities for the children are well thought out and focus on every area of development for the specific ages of the children she has.
I absolutely love the fact that Louise regularly will take the children to the park, giving them time to explore and have some much needed fresh air.
My little boy talks about Louise and the other children all the time and gets very excited when i tell him he is going to Louise's

Having had experiences with other childminders, I can honestly say that I am so glad that I met Louise. Since first meeting and the settling in sessions I could tell that my son was being cared for in a secure, clean and happy environment.
In such a short amount of time my son has thrived so much with learning and creativity.
I can’t thank Louise enough for what she has accomplished with him. He really enjoys being at Louises house.
I am so grateful for how Louise, Jen and Francesca have made him feel so welcome :-)

Louise provides a real home from home and did a wonderful job caring for my girls, age 3 and age 6. My girls really enjoyed spending time with Louise and her 4 year old daughter (who is just a delight - so sharing, caring and kind). Louise and her daughter quickly built strong bonds with the girls, which meant they were so exited to visit time. The variety of tasks and activities was great and Louise had excellent communication with me via What’s App. We look forward to using Louise again during the school holidays. Nicola

I couldn't have asked for a better childminder. Louise is warm, caring and dedicated to providing the best care possible. Her home is also beautiful and the perfect haven for little ones to thrive in. My 2 year old son loved his days with Louise and I felt 100% confident that he was happy and safe. In the short time that he was with her the progress he made was phenomenal.
