My Requirements

Nanny Required - Location: Jersey, Channel Islands

Approximate Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM & 2:30PM - 7:30 PM

We are a warm and welcoming family based on the beautiful island of Jersey in the Channel Islands (a 35-minute flight to London and connections to multiple other UK airports). We have two wonderful children – an 8 year old boy and a 5 year old girl. My husband travels frequently to America and will be away often over the coming six months, which is why we require the support of a nanny. This is an initial 12 month position with a view to be long term. En suite accommodation is available if required.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Morning routine support, including preparing breakfast, assisting with getting dressed, and school drop-offs.
- Afternoon care, including school pick-ups, after-school activities, and supervision of homework.
- Engaging the children in creative and educational play.
- Preparing healthy snacks and meals for the children.
- Light household duties related to the children (e.g. tidying up play areas, organising school bags, laundry related to the children).

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a nanny or childcare professional.
- A caring, reliable, and patient nature.
- Ability to engage children in age-appropriate activities.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- A valid and clean driving license as the role requires dropping the children at school (15 minutes away by car) and picking them up.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Enhanced DBS check (or equivalent for Jersey) or willingness to undergo background checks.
- References from previous families or employers.
- Must be a non-smoker.
