About Me
Hi i am a single mother of 2, one is 19 and other one is 5 yrs of age, my 5 yr old child is autistic and non-verbal. He loves sensory play and mostly likes to play on his own although he joins in when he feels like it but for a brief time. He has made alot of progress in his current school and is currently in yr 1, we have applied for his EHCP, also he is currently still in nappies, we are trying to toilet train but will take time. I am a full-time mommy aswell as a student at university completing my BA in leadership and management in Business, I am 40 years of age and have worked as a paeds support worker in clinical nursing up until my 5 year old was born.
My Requirements
I am looking for a nursery or a childminder who is SEN qualified who can help my child with his speech and communication, i can do stay and play and learn from yourselves too there may be days where i would like him to be picked up from school and dropped off at home, ideally i would prefer someone who can meet and get to know Deen and myself before i commit to anything as i feel it is very important to build that relationship with Deen prior to taking on the role, Deen can get very disregulated if he sees new faces or if he faces anything out of his usual routine, It will be a step by step meetings and greetings and i will pay extra for your time and effort whilst you get to know Deen in the privacy of my home or yours with me being nearby at all times until Deen is 100percent comfortable with yourselves.
