About Me
Hi my name is Cheryl, I live with my husband and our 2 Girls aged 20 and 18 years of age. We have 2 dogs and 2 horses. I have been childminding for over 11 years and have been recently been inspected in July 2019 by Ofsted and graded as GOOD. I currently pick up from Hunslet Carr Primary school and nursery in Ls10
I am a very home from home setting. I offer a nurturing environment and I allow children to go with what they enjoy to do. It’s not a structured setting and I feel that children settle better with this environment.
My Experience
I have 20 years of childcare experience. This being a parent to my own two girls, and with being a helper/organiser of parent and toddler groups at various different venues on different days. I also volunteered at the local Sure Start and helped get some of the groups running. Organising trips/days out for the groups and/or special treats for the groups like beauty therapy or meals out.
My Qualifications
Leeds childminder registration course.
Planning observation and assessment course.
Paediatric first aid course.
Basic food hygiene course.
Safeguarding children refresher course.

Monday-Friday 7am-5pm

My son has been with Cheryl since September 2020, he absolutely loves it there and adores Cheryl. My daughter joined them in January 2024 and she has had the best time so far. Both my children have thrived been with Cheryl and love their “Cheryl days”. Couldn’t ask for a better childminder for my children.
