About Me

Currently working as a Nanny.
Experience: Nanny, Childminder, Pre-school assistant, medical care, love of the outdoor and regular gym member, I’m also a singer. I’m a Grandma of 3 gorgeous sisters, 5, 2( who has seizures) and 5 months. I’m quite useful to my middle son! I’m fairly outgoing and have raised two 6’ 3” men with two years between them and mixture of ADHD, Tourette’s Syndrome and ASD, nothing much phases me but as siblings, they are all very close and we laugh a lot. My husband is wheelchair bound (type 1 diabetic) but self sufficient so he keeps our trusty old Labrador ‘Dennis’ (13) company while my animal crazy daughter (20) is studying in South Korea. I’m self motivated and a good ‘from scratch’ cook who can feed the 5000 on a shoestring with anything you have in store. I like to be busy, I love variety, I take short rests but am not a sitter. I’m gentle, patient and consistent with young people so they may find it quite hard to achieve the desired reaction when testing boundaries, yet they will always be praised. Children of all ages like to feel a part of things; to be seen and heard. Much younger children and babies in my care thrive from good routines and plenty of interaction, enhancing their development whilst educating them through play. Making children feel safe, secure and appreciated is paramount, I’m also quite a lot of fun but firm with boundaries. I don’t expect perfection from anyone, your home, your business. I’m very clean, tidy and organised. I’m there to support and enhance the full family experience, not to judge, I shall only do that when I, myself am perfect!
