(I am looking for the right job description for me to bring along my baby to work with me ). I am looking for a lovely family to work for and to dedicate my experience and effort to. As stated above, I have a child of my own and I must be able to include him in my working hours for you. I am, like many other parents of single children wanting my baby to mix with other children and so this may be a great opportunity for us all to create positive relationships that work well for all of us.
Hi There, I currently live within the WF2,6 area of Wakefield.
My passion is Working with Children and ensuring that I provide a safe, nurturing and fun environment for them to blossom.
Out of work hours- I enjoy all things interior design related. Fashion, Films, photography and being creative as well as party planning/ setting up.
I am very family orientated as I am the eldest of five children and have always liked to mother my siblings over the years. I have also provided nannying for my nephew since being newborn and who is now Nearly 5 years old. I have also taken care of many of my friends children and word of mouth seems to be the way in which families hear about me.
I have worked for myself for 5+ years now and I thoroughly enjoy forming relationships with the children in my care as well as with their parents & Carers.
I pride myself on my people skills. I feel that I am a very warm and friendly person who respects all parenting methods and who will always try to make you feel at ease about leaving your children in my safe hands.

My Experience
I am very passionate about providing the best care for children of all ages, and encouraging them to experience all opportunities that help and support them to learn and grow.
I have over 18 years experience of working in childcare and have enjoyed working in a wide range of settings and roles.
These roles are as follows..
Student/ assistant in a baby unit within a private day nursery.
Preschool assistant within a preschool setting.
After school club leader within a primary school.
Deputy Manager- pre-school.
I also have experience of acting manager within a preschool, when the manager was absent for study, twice a week.
I have also had lead roles as - Behaviour coordinator, safeguarding officer, childcare student mentor and Fire Marshall.
I have a level 3 in paediatric first aid and have worked alongside children with additional needs.
I have been a Nursery Nurse within a primary school setting, and I was leader of a FEET (families enjoying everything together) group for the new starters transitions into our nursery.
I now have 8 years experience of working for myself as a Nanny for various families and I am thoroughly enjoying my time looking after children, going on adventures with them and forming relationships with them and their families. I am very lucky to have such wonderful, loyal and supportive families who trust me to look after their most precious children.
My Qualifications
CACHE Diploma Level 3 in Childcare and Education (2008)

Health and safety level 2
I also studied my foundation degree in Early years for two years with the open university, however was not able to complete this degree due to family reasons.
My Availability
I am preferably looking at taking on a young baby or one year old at present. The reason for this is that I have lots of experience with birth to 4 year olds and I usually take children from a young age before nursery/ school to help them prepare for the next stage.
Unfortunately I cannot offer the 2 or 3 year old funding due to nannies only being voluntary ofsted registered rather than compulsory. However, I am eligible for payment via Universal credits and Tax free childcare .
I am now advertising for preferably a long term family with a young child/children in Wakefield, who will require various full days through the week. My place of work will be within your own home, and I will have other children accompanying me (this will be discussed at the home visit) so please bear this in mind when considering myself as your nanny.

I am OFSTED registered and able to accept payments from universal Credits and tax free childcare for those who are eligible.
My Fees are discussed with you during the compulsory home visit that I carry out with parents before anything is agreed or booked in with myself.
