About Me
Hi, my name is Diane , I am an Ofsted registered childminder and have been graded outstanding by Ofsted in my last four inspections, last inspection July 2022. I offer the FREE 15 and 30 hours childcare using the EYE funded hours for children from 9months. Please read my Ofsted report which is available on the Ofsted site. A little about my setting - I live in a large house, with a "fully stocked" play room, a conservatory, downstairs cloakroom and a large, appealing, safe and secure garden, . We have no pets.
I offer a home based, caring childcare setting where all children are valued and nurtured. Children are helped and encouraged to reach their full potential through play whilst having lots of fun and enjoying their childhood. I provide a home from home, caring, safe and secure environment for the children to enjoy, achieve and learn through play following the EYFS.
I provide quality childcare where standards are high, independence can be developed and where there are a wealth of learning opportunities, both structured and spontaneous, to help children to achieve their goals and promote their self-esteem.
My curriculum is holistic with emphasis on social skills, language development, numeracy skills and phonic awareness , all delivered through play based activities. The children thrive, by promoting resilience, independence and confidence while practising kindness, tolerance and empathy towards each other.
My focus is always on the children's well-being and happiness because a happy, content child is more able to develop successfully in all developmental areas. Music, singing and stories play a large part in out daily activities. Children learn best when they are happy, so fun and learning through play is a priority in my setting.
Although we are based at home we spend a lot of time out and about visiting parks, the farm, the library, music groups, soft play areas and toddler groups,
My Experience
I have over 20 years experience caring for children from birth to twelve years. Over the years I have cared for children with additional needs including ASD, ADHD,PDA and other medical conditions. I am registered to provide free Early Years Education and all funding is accepted at my setting.
My Qualifications
Level 4 in Early Years Childcare
Level 4 safeguarding
First Aid
Food Hygiene
NVQ3 in Early Years Care and Education
Registered to provide free Early Years Education to pre-school children.
Various other courses relating to the EYFS etc.
My Availability
Please contact me for full details of my availability from September 2025 . I accept all early years funding and can offer up to 10 hours funding per day . I collect and drop off children from St John The Baptist school and Balksbury school.

Diane is the most lovely lady ever. She is so hopeful and kind and I am so glad she came into our lives. My son absolutely adores her.
