About Me
Hello, my name is Oluwakemi, my setting is called Shinning Glory. I am an OFSTED registered rated (Good) in all areas in my latest inspection. I am First-aid trained childminder based in Swanley (Kent) with over 16 years of experience as a child care practitioner. I Continuously updates myself in all the new guidelines released by OFSTED through the DfE, and delights myself in acquiring new skills by seeking for more knowledge, new informations, updates to boost my performance in the delivery of duties, by engaging in webinars and trainings to enhance my CPD. I have worked in one of the Leading child care providers over the years. I have excellent early years experiences and passionate about children’s all round wellbeing with the desire and ability to nurture them to become confident and happy children.
I am married with 3 children ages 13,11 and 7 years. I live in a large 4 bedroom house with large front and rear garden, with lots of outdoor toys and equipments to facilitate children’s developments in all areas. I ensure to follow OFSTED CURRICULUM and tailor children’s learning and developments to became, Happy, confident and unique individuals.
I provide high-quality childcare in which children develop and learn a variety of skills set in a safe and caring environment.
I am an eligible childminder I offer the Nine month to Two years funding, three and four years founded hours.

My Experience
I am a highly qualified childcare practitioner with over 16 years of experience in Early Years education. I have worked in Large Nursery settings for some of the leading childcare providers. This has enabled me to gain lots of fantastic hands-on experiences and whist I enjoyed my time there, I decided to move into Childminding after the birth of my third child. Being a Childminder gives me the freedom to really tailor my curriculum and activities to the children in my care and their current needs and likes.
I have always had a passion for learning about Child development and am constantly looking to further my knowledge to gain current and useful know-how in Early Years Education. I have recently completed a degree course in (Early Childhood Studies) from which i obtained a 1st Class honours.
Being a parent myself, i fully understand how difficult it can be, leaving your child and choosing the right person or setting to look after your child/en. children of my own, and with even more diverse experiences gathered from my previous employment, as an early years educator, I know that I am very much experienced and a great child care practitioner.
Our home is very much a home away from home for the children in my care.
I am following the current EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). I provide high-quality, personalised childcare in which children can be individuals, thrive, and learn a variety of skills. I am a firm believer in the use of music in all areas of Early Childhood Development and beyond and you will often find us listening to and making music. I provide a warm, relaxed, comfortable and safe environment where children develop and enjoy educational activities. I routinely take the children to various children's centres, soft play, parks, library, and museums etc.
I pride myself in creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children in my care. It is important to me that children feel safe and valued and I like to work closely with families to ensure smooth transitions and routines remain as close to those that you have at home as possible.
I am able to provide a fun and safe environment to meet children's individual needs to the best of my ability, providing the children with a range of fun, creative and educational activities both indoors and outdoors.
I provide daily diaries and regularly updated profile books to ensure children monitor and help children's development that are freely accessible for parents to take home and contribute to by sharing what activities their child/en has enjoyed or engaged in and I can help to further facilitate their learning and exoeriences.

I am available for daytime care and school pickup and drop off from St Bartholomew's primary school, Horizon primary academy and St Mary Primary school, (Swanley)

I have spaces for free funded hours for your Nine months, twos and three years old.

We are so grateful to have found Kemi to look after our twins. They started with her when they were 13 months old, and they have settled in really well and seem very happy and content.
Kemi is incredibly experienced and knowledgeable in caring for young children. She has a deep understanding of their needs and developmental stages, and she creates a safe and nurturing environment where they can thrive.
She is also very patient and understanding, and she has a real knack for putting the children at ease. She is always attentive to their needs, and she goes above and beyond to make sure they are happy and comfortable.
Our twins have learned so much in the time they have been with Kemi. They have also become more confident and independent.
We are also very grateful for kemi's flexibility and support. She is always willing to work around our needs, and she has been a great source of advice and guidance.
We highly recommend Kemi to any parent looking for a wonderful childminder for their twins. She is simply the best!

Kemi is an exceptional childminder. My daughter loves attending Kemi’s nursery, to the point that she gets sad when it’s home time! Since joining Kemi’s nursery, my 15 month daughter child has developed significantly quick and reached her milestones very fast. I love the fact that Kemi’s home is set up like a private nursery and she always has fun activities balanced with educational activities for my daughter to do. I highly recommend Kemi’s childcare services to all parents!

My children have been going to Kemi for over a year now. I have changed jobs recently with shorter hours so no longer need to use Kemi.
My children have had the best time with Kemi. The children love going to her and they always come home happy. During the holidays, Kemi takes the children out to either Swanley, Danson or Belvedere parks and they have a picnic and play in the water park. Kemi sends me photos from their outings during the day so I can see what my children are upto.
Kemis home is clean and there is a playroom and a big well equipped garden for the children to play in.
There is arts and crafts to do and plenty of toys to play with.
Kemi cooks chicken and rice for my older child and she loves it. My little one is more fussy but Kemi caters well for him.
Kemis own three children are lovely and my children have grown very close to them. We hope to still see them even though Kemi is no longer our childminder.

My two children aged 5 and 7 go to Kemis for after school care. They love going here, Kemi is loving and provides an happy, safe environment for my children. It takes me ages to get them out of her house when I pick them up as they want to stay and play. They are always coming home with loads of pictures they have done there and I have no hesitation in recommending Kemi as a first class childminder!

I would most definitely recommend this wonderful lady, Kemi cares for 3 of my children who are 4, 5 and 11 and they absolutely love it, she takes very good care of them and i couldn't ask for a better childminder. I can go to work everyday with no worries knowing my children are in a very happy and caring environment.
