About Us
Welcome to Ladybird Children's Nursery.
Our aim is to support and help children’s development, on a physical, emotional and educational level, encouraging them to achieve the best they possibly can. From building confidence to socialise with peers to taking steps unaided and developing communication – every child has different abilities and needs, and is encouraged at every stage by our dedicated team.
We provide exceptional inclusive nursery education to children aged 3 months – 5 years old, in a friendly child-centred environment.
We are open to all children, though we do specialise with children with additional needs and complex medical needs, we tailor the care and education to provide all children with the best opportunities for development. We also help our children to build the confidence, independence and skills they need to help them start school – mainstream or special education – and also provide all the assistance required to make this transition as smooth and successful as possible.

Our Fees
- Childcare from £39.50 per morning
- Childcare from £39.50 per afternoon
- Childcare from £57.50 per day
- Childcare from £275.00 per week
0-2 years, full day £57.50
2-5 years, full day £55.00
Our fees are fully inclusive of wipes, nappies, formula milk and all meals.
We accept Tax-Free Childcare payments, nursery vouchers and 15 & 30 hours funding.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since September 2024 and loves it, the staff have been amazing getting to know my daughter and what she enjoys doing. My daughter has settled very well and loves the staff and has made some lovely friends that she talks about at home all the time. They always give me detailed summary of her day when she is collected about what she has ate, how long she has napped etc it is very reassuring. They also post on facebook regularly if you permit your child's photo to be used and you can see what they get up to throughout the day

I have been using ladybirds nursery as a parent for nearly 10 years. The staff are worth their weight in gold! My 9 month old has been going since she was 3 months old and she is thriving.. My son who is 9 used to attend from being a baby, he was actually diagnosed with a rare disabilIity at 2 and without the ladybirds staff we might not have got this as they were following his progress so closely it was apparent he wasn’t meeting mainstream milestones. After his diagnosis they helped him every step of the way and he still went to both the nursery and holiday club until just last year. He was welcomed with open arms and he loved it! The turnover of staff is very low and everyone is so friendly, Communication is great too - my life would have been very different without Ladybird Nursery.

It is my pleasure to review ladybird as they are taking care of my daughter in an outstanding way. She is extremely satisfied with the facilities and the nursery. She enjoys the time there and we are very much grateful for their service and dedication. Also, thier communication is appreciable.

We have been really pleased with the care and education our child has received at Ladybird. Staff are friendly, caring and well experienced. Communication is clear and helpful. The setting is open and spacious and even though the children are in age appropriate groups, they have opportunities to mix which is great. We love getting daily updates and pictures on our child’s online journal to see what they have been doing.

A fantastic nursery where both of my children have thrived. The staff are well trained and incredibly knowledgeable and friendly any they are continually updating their skills and knowledge. Ladybird is an airy open nursery where the children are in separate rooms but can still see and hear each other, they are also brought together to play and have lots of planned activities to discover and learn about different topics, they have an abundance of toys and books, quiet spaces and lively activity spaces in each room, they also have a fantastic little outdoor space and the children get to go out every day. The food at Ladybird is all home made by their in house cook and they cater for all dietary requirements. The staff care for children of all abilities and every child has their individual needs met. My children and I love this nursery and would highly recommend it.
