I'm a 33 year old mother of two boys. I work part time as an outreach worker for young carers in conwy County, providing them with one to one support and respite from their caring roles.
I love music, film and doing crafts like crochet and jewellery making, card making and macrame.
My Experience
I am able to build trusting relationships with children of all ages, using a person led approach, and mutual respect. I regularly work with children of all ages and with numbers of disabilities and additional needs. . I have my level 2 core studies nvq in childcare and a full dbs, and I have had some experience working within several nurseries, as well as taking care of children within my own home on a regular basis. I am also a mum of 2 boys, so appreciate how precious children are.
My Qualifications
I have a gnvq in health and social care, work experience in nurseries, and am working towards my level 2 nvq in childcare. I have a full dbs available to view on request. I have also taken on several training courses at my job with young carers.
