Hello!
My name is Amy and I’ve been a nanny for around 7 years now.
I’ve worked for a few different families over that time. I’m currently putting out feelers to see if there are any part time positions I can add to my week! I currently have availability on Monday and Tuesday, but moving forward into the summer my available days will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
I love being a nanny and building relationships with the families I work with and the children I look after. I enjoy being creative with my charges and finding out how they best learn things so I can support them.
I also like to cook and I’m happy to cook for the whole family if wanted!
Being reliable, supportive, kind and loving are things I think are important as a nanny, and I believe I am!
I have a driving license and my own car, and am comfortable driving with children passengers.
My Experience
My first nanny role was a 4.5 year role for a family with 3 boys. When I started 6mnths, 5yrs and 9yrs old. I supported the family with school pick ups, light house keeping, cooking, 1:1 hours with the youngest, bath time and bedtime routine, and full sole charge of all 3 boys during school holidays. I was also with this family during lockdowns and supported the older two children with their homeschooling.
My next role was 1.5 years for a military family with 2 boys. 4 and 7. I did some proxy parenting during this time while both parents were away, but more regularly my hours would involve school drop off/pick up, light housework, cooking, bath and bedtime routine, supporting with homework, and some full days with both boys during school holidays.
Most recently I have done some shorter term temporary positions. One with a little boy 10mths for a few months. Another for G6 and B18mths, and another B22mths.
My Monday and Tuesday used to be working with twin boys, 11mo - 16mo, but unfortunately they've moved away from the area so I'm back on the hunt for another family!
I am currently working with one little girl who is 2.5. I've been with her since she was 12 months.
Around these families I have also worked with a different set of twins, and done overnight care for a family.
I have supported a child with extra needs and am comfortable with learning new skills to help any child in my care.
I can do occasional weekends with fair amounts of notice, and overnight stays on any available days with notice too.
My Qualifications
I am OFSTED registered, have an up to date Infant First Aid Qualification, insurance and clear DBS.
I have a First Diploma in Health and Social Care.
Along with my GCSE's which were all A-C's.

Weekdays - My availability is flexing at the moment, so am happy to discuss with people who are interested

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
My fee p/h is £17. This may differ depending on the number of children and their age(s) and their medical requirements (if any).
Overnight rate can be discussed as and when needed!
