My Experience

I have over 9 years of hands-on childcare experience, working with children from as young as 11 months up to 13 years old. My experience includes both long-term babysitting and short-term nannying roles:

Summer Nanny – 3 Children (Ages 3, 9 & 12):
I worked with a lovely family over the summer for three months, caring for three energetic and creative children. My responsibilities included planning and taking them on fun, educational outings to places like museums, the zoo, and Clip ‘n Climb. I also ensured they got to their extra-curricular activities on time, and prepared nutritious, balanced meals each day. I created a warm, structured routine that kept them engaged and happy throughout the summer break.

Babysitter – Long-Term Family (10 Years):
For over a decade, I’ve provided regular babysitting for a family, building a strong and trusting relationship with both the children and parents. I helped with homework, supported learning through play, and often set up fun arts and crafts activities. My role evolved as the children grew, and I was proud to be a consistent, supportive presence in their lives over the years.

Weekend Babysitter – 4-Year-Old Child:
I also regularly babysat for another family, staying over on weekends to care for their 4-year-old. My responsibilities included managing bedtime routines, preparing meals, engaging in creative play, and ensuring the child felt safe, comforted, and entertained while their parents were away. This experience helped me build strong overnight care skills and a deeper understanding of younger children's needs.
