About Me
My name is Sandra and I am an OUTSTANDING OFSTED registered childminder with excellent safeguarding procedures and good knowledge of early years development. I have over 27 years of knowledge and understanding of child development which was gained from working with children in schools, nurseries and growing up four of my own children into full grown adults! This has given me the experience and knowledge to understand the individual needs of babies and children aged from 0 to late teens and beyond. Furthermore, my experience in a nursery setting has given me a strong understanding of the development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage and I can deliver this curriculum efficiently and effectively.
In order to ensure that your child is placed in an organised and well prepared environment, I have developed a nutritious and tasty 4 week meal plan. Furthermore, I have developed stimulating activities that are age appropiate to ensure that your child meets their early learning goals. All meal plans and activities can be adapted to ensure that dietary requirements are met and that activities are suited to bring out the best in your child.
I provide a safe and stimulating environment for families and children aged between 0-8 and I am able to do before school drop offs and after school pick ups . I aim to provide an environment that encourages children from all different backgrounds to develop socially, emotionally and intellectually. I am located in Brixton with only a 5 minute walk from tube/train stations and local bus stops.

My Availability
I am available for childminding services between Monday and Friday within my home which is based in Brixton. My day care hours are from 8am- 6pm but these hours can be flexible to suit the family's needs.
Full time or part time places available.

My Fees
- Childminding from £12.00 per hour
My childminder daily rate 8am-6pm £75 including food, I also do the 9 month old baby finding.
Please note I can be flexible to suit the families needs.
I also accept childcare vouchers.

Sandra looked after my son from 1yr-2yrs 4months old and I couldn't recommend her more highly. I found leaving my son to go back to work quite hard and looked in to all the nurseries in the area, nanny shares and other childminders and Sandra really stood out from all of the other options. She is so kind and caring, with a really good dose of common sense- I would always trust her to do the right thing for my son. She has a great set-up with a garden full of toys and takes them out every day to either the library or a play centre or the park. She also does a lot of craft and sensory play with them. The food is excellent- healthy and really varied. She is very professional and has all the paperwork and safeguarding in hand so you can really be reassured that everything is done properly. I honestly can't recommend her more highly.

Sandra is an absolute gem! My son has been with her for 15 months - since he was 6 months old - and we all adore Sandra. She is extremely professional, dedicated and takes great care to learn all about her charges and to develop their interests in discussion with parents. She goes above and beyond to provide a welcoming, stimulating and safe environment with all sorts of excursions, trips and visits. She also provides delicious and varied meals and communication is thorough and detailed. Luc has absolutely flourished under her careful, conscientious and loving care. I cannot recommend her services highly enough.

I would strongly recommend Sandra,a true asset. I have been bringing my son here since he was 1, he is now 2+
She is very hardworking, and goes out her way to ensure children are happy/entertained,and provides all tools possible to support their development. Plenty of activities-always varied, the day is full, lovely outdoor space, and lots of toys/books. Happy family home.Safe and clean. Detailed daily logbook filled with lots of activities he's done.
Sandra provides delicious home cooked food, and ensures my fussy eater gets fed with a variety of high quality meals.
Her patience is second to none,and she personalises the care each child needs.
Also goes out to local playgroup/ park/ local zoo/ many other fun-filled activities.
Fees are affordable and is willing to work around your schedule which has been important to me, and has helped me out on weekends/ later hours so allowing me to work, for which I am so grateful.
Sandra goes that extra mile to ensure children are happy, as well as supports their development -my son always comes home with a full tummy and a big smile on his face .What more could a parent want?

We found Sandra in an attempt to arrange a childminder for our two boys (2 & 4) She has been looking after them since March and just started out at that point and what a blessing it has been to have her.
Every day she is making a great effort to entertain the kids and assist in their development. Sandra very quickly gained the boys trust and made the settling in a very smooth process. They are both very active and can be quite a handful to deal with but nothing was too much trouble and she has been an incredible help with her patient and loving approach of dealing with the kids.
She safely dropped and picked Harvey from the kindergarten and cared for James all day. They both bonded very well with her and it has been such a relief to know that they enjoy going to her when we dropped them in the morning.
Our work schedule required a fair amount of flexibility and nothing was too much trouble. Not having her as our childminder anymore is a true loss for us and we wish her all the best.
