Hi I'm Cheryl!
I work as a Behaviour Therapist in various locations around London, with my primary focus being working with children with autism. I currently work in nurseries, schools and home base settings with children from the age of 3-7.
I have a passion for working with children and I believe building a strong rapport is the key to success when working with these little ones.
I am hoping to gain more casual work in the evenings and weekends outside of my full-time role and I can guarantee I'm flexible, reliable and have a genuine love for the work I do.
I am passionate about ensuring that the highest quality of work is delivered to the children and families I work with. My ethos of working is strength focused and person centered, and that positive reinforcement is paramount to encourage learning. I love being outdoors and being active as well as getting creative with some arts and crafts and having some down time at home.
My Experience
I have 15 years experience working with children of different ages, abilities and setting. Such as babysitting, summer camps for children & young people with disabilities, care homes, au pair, special needs nanny, LSA, TA and home tutor. I've worked in mainstream and SEN schools, home and clinic settings which is all dependant on my clients needs.
This has all given me invaluable experience, as well as completing a Masters Degrees in Applied Behaviour Analysis that has allowed me to pursue a career in Behaviour Therapy.
