About Me
My name is Emma, I offer Funded hours for 2yr and 3-4 yr olds. I am Graded Good by Ofsted, I am married and I have three children aged 22,17,and 13yr old along with a lovely caring labrador who's 7yrs old. I have been involved in childcare and caring industry for over 22years in one way or another. I am a bubbly chirpy person who has a good understanding of the EYFS. I enjoy working with children to learn through play. I am a person whom enjoys watching children experience things through senses for example messy play, textures and experiences threw their own eyes.
My Experience
I have had my children in both nurseries and with a child-minder. I enjoy the personal touch and flexibility that a child-minder gives a family. I am fully Ofsted registered and have our paediatric first aid certificate and safeguarding level 2 food and hygiene, We will be extending my knowledge and education whilst childminding to give the children the best care possible.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
I charge by the hour to ensure to be as flexible and affordable as possible for families. A set fee for Before school and after school places.
My Local Schools

Emma and her husband, Andy, are amazing, and we highly recommend them to anyone. No need to look for somebody else! This reference covers the last five years. We have been using Emma’s services since our first son was 10 months old until he went to nursery and our second son till he goes to Reception this year. Over the years, we have seen how much Emma and Andy mean to our boys and how highly they speak of them. They have picked up many good behaviours and have learned so much, especially their English, as English is not our first language as a family. Their level of preparedness to start school is fantastic, and I’m at ease thinking about my second son starting reception in a few months.
There were many times when Emma went the extra mile, and we can see how our youngest son talks about Emma and Andy and treats them like a family. And for us as parents, all we see is care, love, compassion and professionalism. To add to that! They have a lovely dog, who is very well-mannered!
Things we have seen that our kids enjoy the most are activities, time spent in their garden and going out. And what’s most important, they are never coming back hungry and always eat a great variety of food prepared by Emma.
To add a few more things, there has always been excellent communication with Emma and her husband. Each day we are informed of what kid/kids ate and did. When we first started back in 2018, she put me at ease by sending lots of updates and pictures, so I wasn’t worrying, and for a first-time mum who was coming back to work was so much appreciated.
There are not enough high words for these two, so please do not think twice!

Emma has had my son for nearly 2 years now and has been amazing throughout, you always know when you have a good childminder when your child begs to go! Shes amazing with him and he always comes home happy! She is the best support system you could wish for in a childcare provider. Even once my son goes to school I will continue with Emma and Andy in school holidays because i genuinely never thought id be able to trust anyone fully with my children (massive anxiety!) but i can honestly say hand on heart i trust them fully with both of them, we love you both and thank-you for being amazing with our boys xx

Emma and Andy have been minding my 2 children for the last 2 years. They are both amazing. My 2 are very fussy eaters and definitely clingy to mummy. However they loved coming and forever painting me pictures. Andy taught my son how to plant a flower, which he loved, and loves playing in the garden. My daughter loved meeting new friends which helped when they joined her in reception at school, and was a great transition.
In particular I want to thank you both very much, as a busy full time mum, it’s great to see that you have supported them develop in areas I am unable too.

My twins have been going to Emma for 6months or so now and absolutely love her, it's like a home from home for them. Emma has been great at providing flexible care for my boys and always gives me feedback about their day which I really appreciate. Its very clear that Emma is passionate about her career and genuinely cares for the children she looks after. One of my twins was displaying some challenging behaviours when he first started and now is like a different child, happy and excited to go spend his day with his brother at Emma's and theyre always full of tales to tell when I collect them too. We're due to move out of the area soon and will genuinely miss Emma and her family x

Emma is always happy and bubbly when dropping my children with her. She is an amazing person and my children both love her and took to her straight away, she makes them feel happy and at ease and myself at ease knowing they are in great care whilst I am at work. My 2 year old asks every morning if he is going to ‘Silly’ Emma’s house. He gets to spend time with other children there too so he gets to socialise and I’ve noticed the new things he has learnt/picked up on while been there. He’s always coming home with things he has done with Emma such as pictures etc and Emma also sends me photos of my children. My daughter absolutely loves Emma and loves going to her house after school for tea. Honestly, I couldn’t of asked for anyone better to care for my children for me, I am very thankful and grateful for her xx

We have been using Emma’s services for more than 6 months now on a full time basis. She is an outstanding childminder, very supportive of every parenting decision we have made and she is really great with our son. We have seen how big progress our little one made since he’s been at Emma’s. We have been given updates on our son progress regularly and daily updates on how he has been. We’ve been provided with lots of pictures which is really good, especially if you are a first time mum who needs to get back to work, it is a big relief to see some evidence on those picture that your baby is being taken care of. There is not enough stars for me to put on this review. To all mamas and papas, if you are considering Emma’s services then I would highly recommend it!

My youngest 2 are very picky who looks after them.they didn't like where they were before Emma.i was abit wary sending them to somewhere
New but on there first day there they really enjoyed it and now ask me everyday when there next going.my oldest children also enjoy going to Emma. She keeps the children busy and entertained and I just think it says a lot when they are asking when there next going.puts my mind at ease knowing there happy.
