My Requirements

Theo started at the Pelican School (Cambridge) nursery in September full time. He loves singing, playing and painting – but also concentrating on letters and numbers, stories and science. He plays and enjoys lots of ball games with his older siblings. He is going to do five days a week in September because he loves the stimulation.

We are looking for someone to bring Theo home from nursery 3-4 days Monday - Friday from 3.15pm or 4.15pm to 7.15pm. The journey will be roughly ten minutes on our electric cargo bike, or in the car, so you would need to be happy cycling, or driving – which is optional but not necessary. We would then need him to have a bit of a play then supper at around 5.30pm and a bath at 6pm, ready for bed at 7pm.

Additionally, we would ideally like some availability on Saturdays for a few hours on the occasional weekend and a handful of overnight stays when we need to be away without Theo but this is not necessary.

We are looking for someone who is caring, enthusiastic and flexible. The person would also need to have had some prior experience of nannying or held a position of responsibility caring for others ie nurse or teaching assistant. Additional roles could include speaking Spanish or French with the older children, doing learning activities with Theo, which he really enjoys, or helping Sophie, who is a keen actor, with self-tape auditions. Experience in any of these areas, from teaching, acting and creative arts, or languages would be great but again not necessary.
