About Me
My name is Shara, I'm 38 and currently looking a nanny role in between school pick ups and drop offs. (I do before/after school nannying for another family) I have previously worked as a Play Therapist for a children's charity and have extensive experience working with children in a creative capacity.
I have extensive experience looking after children and babies and have excellent references which I can supply. I am also CRB checked and have Peadiatric First Aid training. I have a background in children's theatre so am happy to entertain your child with storytelling, singing and dancing round the living room to music!
I also do facepainting for kids parties!
My Experience
I have worked for various families over the last 10 years, the children aged between 6 months to 8 years old. I have experience of looking after boys and girls also. Having worked in a children's theatre I also have experience teaching drama to Primary aged children. This has also included subject matters such as internet safety and self confidence.

On her first day, Shara came to our house with her energetic smile and a puppet on her hand: she quickly won the interest of our two children. Shara is very creative and playful, she really thinks in advance about the activities that she will organise with the kids and she is very good at communicating with them and us the parents. She is also great at calming children down and preparing food for them. As my daughter wrote recently about Shara in our of her drawings: ‘Shara is the best babysitter’.

Shara has been watching my son who is 3.5 years old about 4-5 days a week and she is absolutely brilliant with him. She really loves children and it shows, and has been very patient with my son (as 3 year olds can be a handful!). Shara is very organised, prompt, and trustworthy. As a mother it is always scary leaving your child with someone else, but Shara put my mind at ease instantly. I can't recommend her enough!
