About Me
My name is Carol Campling,I live in the lovely area of Iver heaath, and have lived here for 20 years.I live with my husband and 4 children whose ages range from 19 to 8. I am a ofsted registered childminder and have been for 8 years and am still caring for the first little boy I started minding ,which is one of the joys of this job seeing children grow and develop and them being part of your family.II am a member of the NCMA and have full public liabilty insurance.I am first aid trained,and myself and all members of my household over the age of 16 are CRB checked.I am an active member of the community and used to help run the local guide group and now I help run the Iver Heath Drama Club.I also work very closley with another registered childminder and so have emergancy back up and support. I achieved an overall good in my last ofsted insepection but with 2 areas I achieved outstanding.
My Experience
My eperience in childcare is basically I have been a mum for nearly 20 years and I like to think that is how the children in my setting are treated ,they are nutured and mother as a priority .I am fully knowledgable with EYFS and follow it.The children in my care get love and support as well as a foundation in early years education as set out in EYFS.I belive in letting children have a fun childhood as well as supporting their education needs to help them develop and meet all their developmental milestones.I am also a quailfied nursev and was working as a staff nurse on an ENT ward for 18 years until December 2008 when I decided I couldnt do both childcare and nursing (as I was nursing at the weekend).
My Qualifications
I have attended a variety of childcare courses ranging from play activites, confident communicatorsd , story telling , metas to name but afew ,as I belive its important to develop professionallly.I have completed the Diploma in Homebased Childcare and got a pass in that.I have also got a certificate on child development ,Food hygiene and safeguarding children.As well as my registeredv General Nurse.
My Availability
Iam availble Monday to friday between the hours of &am to 6pm , but have some flexibilty so please enquire if your hours are outside this time.
I presently have full and part time places.
