The setting itself is a carefully designed balance of comfort and practicality. We have large, airy rooms filled with soft lighting, natural materials, and cozy corners where children can curl up with a book, engage in imaginative play, or take a rest when needed. From the very first moment they step in, they’ll feel like they are part of our family—welcomed with open arms into an environment that is nurturing, joyful, and safe.

Our expansive, fully enclosed garden offers children the opportunity to explore nature, learn about growing food, and enjoy endless hours of active play. With plenty of space to run, jump, and explore, our garden is a key part of the learning experience at Mother Goose Day Care. The outdoor environment is a living classroom, where children can engage in physical activities that support motor skills development, teamwork, and environmental awareness.

We grow a variety of fruits and vegetables, allowing children to experience the joy and satisfaction of nurturing plants and watching them grow. They can also engage in sensory play, such as sand and water activities, or explore various outdoor toys and equipment that encourage physical exercise.

The garden isn’t just a space for fun; it’s a place where children can experience the world around them—learning to appreciate the environment, observe nature, and play collaboratively with peers.

Frequent Outings to Extend Learning Beyond the Home

Beyond the walls of our home, we love to take the children on adventures that provide rich learning opportunities. We frequently visit local parks, libraries, farms, and toddler groups, and we also enjoy outings to soft play centers, bowling, and other exciting places. With my husband Dave, a dedicated head teacher, and our children, also beloved pets—a playful cat, a guinea pig, and a friendly dog—our home is filled with love, laughter, and a sense of belonging. We believe in an open, transparent partnership with parents. To ensure you’re always involved in your child’s learning journey, we maintain detailed, personalized learning journals using Google Docs. This allows you to stay up-to-date with your child’s progress, milestones, and experiences, no matter where you are. You’ll receive regular updates and can share in the excitement of your child’s achievements as they grow.
