My Experience

I have worked in a variety of settings as a early years practitioner from the age of 18. I worked at Hackney community college nursery for 4 years then I moved to Blackburn and worked there in a College nursery for 4 years and then a children's centre for 4 years. Then I moved back to London and I was recruited as a Room leader in a children's centre in Hackney and I worked there for 8 years. I have worked with children from the age of 3 months upto 10 years. I have also worked as a foster carer and respite carer for children with special needs. I worked as a nanny doing evenings and weekends and after school alongside my full time job and for the last 5 years I have been working as a nanny full-time. My current job is with a family who have 1 children aged 2 and 3.5. I prepare meals and light housekeeping duties involving around the children. I do school and nursery drop offs and pickups. I support the family as much as possible in all aspects. I like to spend as much time as possible outdoors, attending different groups, going to parks and on a variety of adventures. I am part of a large network of Nannies in Hackney and Walthamstow and we link up with each other on a regular basis for play dates and outings. The children's safety and interest is always my priority and I expect the parents to trust me fully with their child.
