I am an Ofsted registered childminder (Graded Outstanding Dec 2024) working within a lovely setting and providing stimulating and varied activities. I have plenty of experience working with children and have 3 grown up children of my own. I also have a Cockapoo, who is very sweet natured.
My Experience
Worked with a special needs child for a year in pre-school and volunteered at a local primary school. Bought up my own 3 children.

My daughter has been with Elaine since she was just 1 year old, she was so comfortable with Elaine and in her sitting from the very first time they met, she news's always happy to see Elaine and never cried when I said bye.
My daughter is now 6 and continues to love Elaine, her family and the other children who attend the setting. Elaine has truly provided a home from home, filled with fun, adventures, learning and love.
I would recommend Elaine to anyone, especially if you are feeling anxious about leaving your little one with someone new. Elaine made me feel comfortable and reassured from day one, and it always helped receiving updates while I was at work.
We love Elaine and her family and we are sure you will too!

From the moment I met Elaine at her setting I knew we had found the right place for our little boy who she has looked after for almost one year now (he started at one year old). Elaine is welcoming, friendly and her experience in looking after children is apparent when you talk to her. Our son attends 4 days per week and loves his experience- he is happy to see Elaine and the other children in her care every morning which is testament to the nurturing, homely environment Elaine has created. Every day there are different activities- at home and at external settings which creates variety and fun. I can see how my son has developed his motor and fine skills, as well as his talking and general confidence as a result of Elaine's care. I get a daily update on his activities- what he has eaten, naps and some pictures so I always feel in the loop. Communication is always excellent.
I think possibly the biggest compliment I can pay Elaine, is that when I drop off, I can go to work and not feel like I need to worry or check my phone as I know my little boy is safe, well cared for and having fun.

Elaine has been an absolute godsend over the past 7 months. She has nurtured our little boy with a fantastic home from home setting. We feel Elaine puts in 110% care and is fully committed to making sure our son has a stimulating and caring environment for him to learn and grow.
From my background working with children in nurseries and in the community for 8+ years, I would be fully committed to say that she someone I would recommend to anyone looking for a childminder for their child. With my high expectations, Elaine has outdone them all and we have been very lucky to have found her.

my children were in Elaine's care for 6 weeks on temporary basis still I was able to find a childminder closer to home. my 3 year old daughter had so much fun in Elaine's care, she's really helped her to sing nursery rhymes which had assured me that she was very happy to be with Elaine, every day I was able to have an insight of their activities throughout the day. Elaine had went out of her way to cater for my children during our short time she was happy to drive over & take my son to school then drive home with my daughter. I wish we had lived closer to Elaine for her to continue to look after my children. I can assure that whoever uses Elaine childminding will not be disappointed.
