About Me
We have three kids and a teen, aged 13yrs, 7 years, 5 years and 1yr 8mths who will be 2 in March. We have two cats and are non-smokers. We are walking distance to excellent transport links and Eastbourne town centre. My husband and I both work, and we are looking for a full time nanny (39hrs per week).
My Requirements
We are looking for someone responsible who can help us full-time providing daily before/after-school and early evening support during term-time Tuesday to Friday, 7am - 11am and 4.15pm - 8pm, and 8am - 4pm Saturday. The ideal person would be someone warm, firm, caring, energetic and professional who can go on fun outings, help with school homework, foster creative and educational play, bake and do craft with them, prepare simple meals, packed lunches/tea and snacks, who will clean up after themselves and encourage/support my kids to tidy up after themselves, and help prepare school bags. Love for the outdoors is a bonus!
Mornings will be getting them ready and out to school - they arrive there between 8am and 8.40am, then you’ll head back to the house by yourself for admin/food prep/child related cleaning until 11am. You will walk the little ones home from school at 4.15pm then look after them while my husband and I are generally still working. They eat tea at 5pm, then have bath time as needed and bedtime with stories. We'd love you to take them out to groups, for walks and on trips as much as possible during any holiday or weekend care as they love this. You would work slightly different hours during school holidays: Tuesday - Friday 9am - 4pm, Saturday 8am - 4pm, plus one evening babysitting. The role is initially live-out with the option of live-in from May/June 2025.
