About Me
Hi, my name is Anne-marie and I live with my husband, our 3 children aged 21, 16 and 7 aswel as a cat and 2 very friendly small dogs called Lexi and Poppy.. I became an Ofsted registered childminder in July 2017 after working as a childminders assistant for a year and have recently had my Ofsted inspection in which I received a grading of “good” in all areas. I live in a semi detatched, 3-bedroom house with a large front driveway and a large back garden that has a dedicated area for the children. My house is situated within a small walk of both Ladycross and Cloudside school and is only a two minute drive from junction 25.
I like to provide a home from home environment for the children. This includes weekly trips to the local playgroups, singing group, and soft play centres, and I provide healthy, family breakfast and lunch. I work closely with a group of childminders in the Sandiacre area, and we meet regularly to take the children on trips as well as holding an annual Christmas party. This also means that it may be possible to arrange cover care for your child in the event that i am closed.
I am a firm believer in the fact that children learn best when they are happy, feel safe, and are having fun. I aim to deliver the EYFS following this theory and provide the environment and resources for the children to explore and learn with confidence.
My Experience
As well as the invaluable amount of experience that bringing two children up has provided, I also hold a level two qualification in children and young peoples workforce which I passed in August 2017. I have worked in a pre school, volunteered as a reading assistant in my local school and also worked as a midday supervisor. With all of these years of experience as well as the time as a childminder I am confident I am able to provide the children in my home with a loving and stimulating environment which will enable them to develop whilst feeling safe and having fun.
My Qualifications
Children and young persons workforce - level 2
Paediatric first aid.
Safeguarding training.
Derbyshire County Council childminder qualification.
My Availability
I aim to work Monday to Thursday, 7.30 am to 5.00 pm, although i will try to be as flexible as possible, so please ask if you need something more.
I also provide before and after school care, including snacks.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
Fees start from £5.50 per hour,
this includes all snacks, playgroups, softplay, and activities. I accept any funded children, and the above fees will applicable for the hours above the funded amount that you are entitled to

Anne-Marie is an amazing childminder. Our daughter started with her at 11 months and she settled so quickly. Anne Marie became like part of our family. Not only was she amazing with our daughter but she was also always so supportive with us (as first time parents) She always made sure she was doing activities with the children, each day they would do something different, from trips to many different parks to a day out in Matlock, no day was the same. Our daughter came on leaps and bounds with Anne-Marie.
Anne Marie has a lovely home, her family and pets are equally as lovely.
We would recommend Anne-Marie to anyone looking for a loving friendly trustworthy and reliable childminder.

Annemarie has been amazing with looking after my little boy. Jaxon started when he was 10 months old and is now 2, I knew from the second i visited her home that its where i wanted him to go, I have always felt completely at ease leaving him in her care and love the fact that its a real home away from home environment.
Jaxon loves his time at Annemarie's, he enjoys playing with the other children and even Annemarie's own children.. not forgetting the cats & chickens!! During the time Jaxon has spent with Annemarie he has learnt so much, she really puts the time in to teach them important life skills and thanks to her help he has been able to use cutlery properly from a young age, learn colours, learn how to share, learn to use his manners when asking for or taking something, learn how to behave nicely around animals... his speach is also coming on so well! Annemarie has always been on hand to offer us advice in more difficult situations, such as how to deal with the 'terrible twos' stage as at one point Jaxon did go through a stage of hitting but through us all working off the same page he has calmed down so much and snapped out of it quickly. Everytime i go to pick him up hes sad to leave, which is how I know we 1000% picked the right person for the job. We think of Annemarie more like extended family than as a childminder and she has always gone above and beyond to accomodate any changes or last minute alterations we have needed due to work.
What you see is what you get with Annemarie, a genuine honest person who treats all the kids as if they were her own, I honestly couldnt recommend her high enough. Xxx

Anne-Marie has looked after my son since he was 10 months old. She has always gone above and beyond and they've developed a great relationship now he is 2. I have always felt completely at ease and reassured when leaving him as he is so happy in her environment.
Anne-Marie has always been really supportive and understanding when my son was going through different stages - i.e biting! She helped me work through it and I was never made to feel like I was doing anything wrong, together we stopped him doing it really quickly by sharing the same strategies. He's learned how to share really nicely in Anne-Marie's environment, everyone is treated fairly and i'm always welcomed with a smile when I pick him up.
I would recommend Anne-Marie to anybody - it's the perfect home from home.

Anne-Marie is absolutely an amazing person inside and out, her home is so welcoming, and she is amazing with my little girl. I went to work just before she turned one and Anne Marie made the process so much easier and had given my little girl a "home away from home" she's reliable, flexible and has become a huge part of my little one growing up, she provides a safe, fun interactive environment, and takes them out on lots of adventures and also does lots of activities at home with them when they aren't able to go out. She's understanding and takes the time to work with me to give my daughter the best. She provides daily a stable environment for my little one where she can have fun and learn while I can go to work with peace of mind that she's safe and having fun and being well looked after.

Anne-marie is very reliable & provides a loving & caring environment for our 4 year old. She is flexible & adapts to our needs wherever possible & our son loves going there 3 days a week. Anne-marie takes our son out to a wide variety of places & he always has a lot of fun. Anne-marie really provides home from home care & we can go to work in the safe knowledge that our son is in very good hands.
