Hi I’m Laura and have been registered with Ofsted since 2017 and had my first Ofsted inspection in 2019 where I received a good rating. I have 2 children of my own born in 2009 and 2015. I look after children aged between 5 and 11 mostly term time only. I drop off and pick up children from Chase Bridge in all years. Laura looked after my 2 children after school for 4 years. She was absolutely wonderful, and I really appreciated knowing the kids were in a warm, caring environment. She always had lovely activities to do with them, but is easy-going enough to know when they just need to relax or head to the playground. She even made sure my fussy eater always got dinner, which is a big pro for us! A kind, flexible ‘second mum’, who made the kids feel totally at home. Thank you!

Hi Nicola, Thank you so much for your lovely review. I had my ofsted inspection yesterday and passed with flying colours. I will miss you guys, it has been wonderful to watch them both grow and to think that Mia barely spoke for the first couple of years as she was so timid, she has definitely come out of her shell and grown in confidence. Jack is turning into a lovely little boy and I will miss his character. x
Laura has been taking care of my children after school for two years and they loved being with her. The best part was that she has been an important point of reference for the whole family. Always happy to help and work around our needs.

Laura looks after our daughter after school and it has been the best decision we made to go with Laura rather than after school club. Laura goes above and beyond to make sure all kids are well looked after and entertained. I love that my daughter has a home cooked dinner every night and is in a cosy homely environment after a long day at school.

Laura looked after both of my sons before and after school throughout their time at primary school (there is 3 years between them). It was such a comfort to know that they were with her. She was more than a childminder - she was a second mum. Her home was always warm and friendly, and when we collected the boys, they had always done something, whether it was going to the park, playing in the garden, arts / crafts or games. The weekly menu included a variety of home cooked dinners and special events were always celebrated. It was such a happy and positive setting. If I needed additional cover, Laura was always there. I have no hesitation in recommending Laura. Without a doubt, my 2 boys benefitted from their time with her and for that, I will always be really grateful.

My son was looked after by Laura for several years and it was great. She does the basics brilliantly, but goes the extra mile with special treats, activities and birthday teas for every child. My husband worked shifts and Laura was super understanding of our changing weekly requirements. Most importantly my son was really happy. Laura provided a loving home environment for him to play and relax before and after a busy day at school. I couldn't ask for more!

Laura is a wonderful, kind and talented childminder who looked after our youngest son for several years after school. Her house was a home away from home for him during that time - a place full of giggles where he was always welcome, always felt safe and always had fun. Her understanding of the individual needs of each child and communication with parents is outstanding. We would highly recommend her to any parent in the area.
