About Me

Hi my name is Claudia, I am here to offer a well-rounded and student orientated approach tailor made to each pupil. I have been fortunate enough to study at three esteemed universities, St Andrews, Lancaster and Manchester, all with the end goal to become a tutor and help every child achieve their potential.
Myself I was not a quick learner at a young age, I flourished at an older age with support which helped me to achieve 10 As at GCSE and 3 As and A* at A-Level and entry to three prestigious universities. This inspired me to tutor children as I feel anyone can achieve with time, support, belief and passion. Over the years I have volunteered at several primary schools and gained knowledge how to cater to the needs of children of all capabilities using various teaching styles. My creative and unique styles have been commended by the mentors when I completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Education Studies at the University of Manchester.
Growing up I always had a passion for teaching others, I taught my brother and cousins and branched out to neighbours. During my A-levels I tutored children completing their KS1 SATs this gave me insight into the latest curriculum. More recently I have tutored a pupil sitting their KS2 SATS and prepping for the 11 plus, therefore I am aware of the latest methods and resources available for pupils.
I am flexible with availability and time slots. I can combine online tuition with home tuition if required. I am endeavouring to keep my costs low; due to the Covid era I understand the necessity for financial management.
