About Me
Hi, I am an Ofsted registed Childminder living in the village of Silverstone. I am married with two children aged 8 and 5. As a child minder I offer a warm and welcoming home from home setting.
I believe children learn best through play, when they are having fun and are engaged. Our days are based around creating fun and stimulating activities such as village walks, painting, play doh, story time, role play, baking, creative activities, trips to parks, farms, play groups and topic related outings.
I aim to engage each child fully in everything we do and encourage them to explore and take interest in their environment. I have a wide variety of toys for all ages, role play areas such as home corner and dressing up, small world, dolls house, farm/zoo play sets, puzzles, games, building blocks, instruments and a large safe outdoor space and much more.The children in my care are treated like part of our family, I hope to make them feel comfortable, safe, happy, and excited to learn and confident in themselves.
My Experience
I registered as a childminder (Spring 17) and since having my two little ones have volunteered in my local surestart centre and at our local preschool. My two children have given me the confidence and passion to go into childcare and feel very lucky that I now have the opportunity to make this my living.
My Qualifications
I am fully Ofsted registered with uptodate First aid and Safeguarding training. I am always looking to extend my knowledge and attend regular seminars on all areas of Childcare.
My Availability
I offer a flexible service, accommodating earlier mornings where needed, school holidays, etc. Please feel free to contact me further, to discuss your individual childcare requirements. My opening hours are 8am- 5.30pm but am flexible should anyone need earlier start times/later pick ups as one offs.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I offer an hourly rate and also a special day rate from 8am -5.30pm

I have a daughter who is four, she loves going to Vicki’s and had settled in really well. Vicki is kind caring and very supportive. She is helping prepare my daughter for school and gives her lots of encouragement to do the things she finds tricky.
I can’t recommend Vicki enough.

We count ourselves very lucky to have Vicki as our daughters childminder. She handled the morning drop off tears in the early days brilliantly and would always share a photo to reassure us she was ok and happy, usually within minutes! She has been with Vicki for almost a year now and has come on leaps and bounds with her development and learning but also the reinforcement of the same manners and behaviour we instil at home. They always do lots of fun activities both in the home, outside, or at groups or soft play and our daughter is always really excited to tell us what she's done that day. Vicki is warm and caring and genuinely proud of her mindees individual achievements and it really is a home from home atmosphere. She shares photos every day which I love as I feel I'm sharing a little of what she's doing, and also a folder with written development observations every few months. We can't recommend Vicki enough, our daughter is always very happy when it's a "Vicki day!" :-)

My daughter has been with Vicki for nearly a year and is so happy with her. We never have any issues leaving her there as she is always glad to go, even though she is quite a reserved character with many people. Vicki takes the kids to lots of local groups and they are often out on walks and other adventures. She really cares about the kids. We've seen lots of progress in my daughter's writing, playing together and manners too - and her confidence has come on leaps and bounds. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Vicki as a childminder.
