About Me
Nicola's childminding services,
Hello my name is Nicola Crowder; I live with my husband James and our two children Ryan, Evie and our two dogs Bella and Piper.
My team and I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) where we build a learning journey for your child, writing down their achievements and setting new goals for them to reach through play and fun learning. I will also be writing a daily diary on what your child has eaten and what they have been doing through their day in our care.
We will be attending childminding groups at local children’s centres where they will have a chance to mix with others and join in with lots of the activities the groups provide.
I believe routine is important for a child to feel secure in their environment so more importantly there will be lost of playing at home where I have a wide variety of puzzles, books, toys, arts and crafts, there will also be baking and lots of messy play. I have a large secure rear garden with a trampoline, slide, ride on toys, See-saw and a large swing set. On nice days we like taking trips to the park and going for walks along the beach.
I will vary the activities so that the children will have the opportunity to explore many new and different things, whilst also giving them time to play with others and by themselves.
My Experience
I have been a child minder registered with Ofsted for 10 years now, looking after children through the day ranging from the ages of 2 months to 5 years. I also do before and after school care and have minded older children from the ages of 6 to 10 years.

My Qualifications
I have a CACHE level 3 Diploma for the children and young peoples workforce
I am an eligible childminder and can deliver the 15 hours of free childcare to those who qualify for the free for two funding and also the 3 to 4 years funding
I am a member of the National Childminding Association (NCMA)
I hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Full CRB disclosure
A clean driving licence
Public Liability Insurance
I also attend any workshops available to keep me up to date with any new training.

Nicola has been looking after my 17 month old daughter for 4 months and I am very pleased with the service.
Nicola is very warm, friendly and makes you ferl welcome in her home.
Nicola provides good and healthy meals and has really helped my little one to like more fruit.
Nicola does lots of activities in and outside her home. In the home they do painting and cooking, (she helped my little one make me a birthday picture of flowers using her hands and feet, it was such a surprise.) Outside they go to soft play areas and play groups.
I love that every week I get something that my little one has made.
Nicola also does a portfolio of how my little one is progressing and is filled with lots of photos. It's a lovely keep sake.
Overall a fantastic childminder who I would recommend to anyone.

Nicola looks after our daughter and our little girl has become very fond of her. I can say that Nicola is very trustworthy and conscientious. She is very informative and always keeps you up to date of our daughters progress. I couldn't ask for a better childminder and I would highly recommend her to anyone considering child care.

Nicola is looking after our 23 months old daughter since about 7 months now. We couldnt ask for a better chilminder, she is reliable, flexible, very organised, passionate and most importantly good with the children. Our liitle girl absolutely loves to go to her and she gets on well with the other children.
