About Me
Hello, I'm Serena.
I'm 42 years old and I have two children, Lola aged 15 and Joey, aged 8. I live with my long term partner Brenden.
I am an Ofsted registered childminder and my partner is an Engineer working for Rolls Royce.

Childminding:
I have previously worked as a registered Childminder, for approximately two years. During this time I had the opportunity to work with children that had a range of neurological/ biological/ physical conditions. Working with these children was extremely rewarding and an experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.
I have experience within this field and therefore I am offering care for children that have additional needs.
Family:
There are four of us that live within our household; myself, my long-term partner (Brenden) and my two children Lola (aged 15) and Joey (aged 8). We do not have any pets at the moment. We live in a clean and tidy home.
In our home we prefer home cooked fresh meals however we live by the saying 'everything in moderation'. I fully appreciate that some children have specific dietary requirements, intolerance's or sensory issues so I provide a lot of flexibility.
What I offer:
Working in partnership with parents is very important to me in order to meet the needs of each individual child. Communication is vital for this process and I feel that it is extremely important to develop a relationship with you (the parent) as well as your child. I offer a safe home that will provide safe care in order to work toward your child's development and expectations. I am fairly flexible and I will respect your individual decisions to the best of my ability.

My Availability
I currently offer care for children between the ages of 0-16 years.
My working hours run between 7:30am and 6:00pm. However, a flexible working pattern is available and hours are offered to suit personal needs; for example, shift work patterns.
Fees are £6.00/h between the hours of 7:30 and 6pm. Care provided outside of these times are at a cost of £7:50p/h.
I currently offer care at the weekend and overnight if required.
