Sam looked after my two children starting when my youngest was 2 and eldest 5. Sam was brilliant with my children and developed an excellent relationship with them. We came to a flexible arrangement that worked for us both and enabling Sam to manage her own childcare needs. Sam is highly organised keeping us all on schedule and planning early for holidays etc.
Sam happily adopted my approach to parenting which is gentle and responsive. Sam would bring my youngest to me (wfh) whenever he needed me eg for breastfeeding but was also able to distract and manage him when I couldn’t immediately respond. We worked brilliantly together as a team.
Sam planned fun activities for the children to do and ensured my daughter did her homework and would start tea as necessary.
Sam also chauffeured my children to any of their activities. Sam looked after my children until they went to school and the hours I needed her were no longer sufficient. However, Sam continues to babysit for me as needed and we also meet up for play dates as our children get on well together and became friends.
Sam also helped out friends of mine when they needed it and enabled my children to have play dates after school.
My children and I would highly recommend Sam!

Thank you so much Sarah
I loved working for you. You and your family were lovely to work for and made me and Olivia feel very welcome, I’m so happy we still stay in touch
Sam
It started quite well with Sam saying all the right things but she seemed quite out of touch with nannying babies. Still, after the settle ins when she started full time, suddenly one day she said her dad had an accident and she couldnt continue leaving us stranded to find a nanny replacement the next day. No notice/wind down nothing. (Curious this came a day after she asked us if during summer holidays she could take our months old baby out for full day outings with her daughter during her daughters summer holiday, which we said would be much for a baby. A few hours was fine but not a day in the burning sun.)Whilst also urging us to pay her on the day despite agreed weekly payment arrangements.which we did.
She had to be reminded to warm up childs food at 12-lunchtime rather than her wanting to take child out for walks. Clean the serving utensils after use and basic needs of a baby (versus toddlers or young children she may have been used to)
If she is now suddenly looking for work Id be very sceptical of her. Beware.

Hello
I’m quite upset this review has been written about me and this could ruin my chances of getting another nannying job
I’ve been nannying for almost 8 years and never had a bad word said about me
I have excellent references
My dad did have an accident snd I couldn’t return to work and had to leave very suddenly which I did apologise for. By the time I would of been ready to return to work I thought you may of found someone else.
The other comments are just not true
I’m afraid to say
You didn’t want me taking your baby out at all and In the interview you were very flexible about the baby doing things then when I started you then said you only wanted baby out for 1 hour of a day of me doing a 8-10 hour day and I had cameras in a few of the rooms watching me which I was not aware off u till I had already started. When I left I did ask to be paid as I did work 3 days for you already.
