About Me
Before and afterschool places for Myton Park primary school are available … please enquire. I am flexible to start if needed from 6am.
Ofsted Registered Childminder since 20/01/2006,
first - aid, DBS cleared, Public Liability insured. ICO.
I offer you and your child a home from home environment with the added learning of life skills and early years development.
With the issues on food restrictions, allergies, intolerance’s etc, a packed lunch will be required to be brought every day.
I provide a good supportive link with you, your child and school, where needed.
I have 2 sons, 1 in full time employment in London, who will be visiting from time to time.
The other just graduated from Teesside University and starting up doing his own games design work.
We have a Chihuahua who is very friendly and is very much apart of the children's experience. Brilliant temperament. Very calming and playful when child interacts.

I cover Myton Park Primary School, Ingleby Barwick for AM and PM drop offs and collections & also nursery drops & collections.....
Monday - Friday (Full-time & Nursery)
Before School 7am - 9am
After School 3.20pm - 5.30pm
(Early morning drop off or later collection can be discussed)
School Holidays/ PD days / closures also accommodated for if needed.
I am a full time pick-up / drop off for any SEN children that attend BEAUMONT HILL SCHOOL, DARLINGTON. So parents can continue to go to work and children can get the transport connection.

Monday - Friday
* All day from 7.00am - 5.30pm
A packed lunch will be required every day attending.
* Earlier and later times can be discussed

Register for your code now on Childcare Choices, on the internet, to check your eligibility for these hours … get in quick for your space.
I currently offer the funded spaces …
15 / 30 hours for 9 months to 2 year olds.
15 / 30 hours for 3 and 4 year olds.
To make full use of the full funding scheme, and keep your bill down to £0.00. A packed lunch will be required every day attending. Formula / bottles / Nappies / Wipes / Suncream. To be provided by parents.
Any additional hours can be added at cost per full hour depending on available space that day.
Bank Holidays - CLOSED
Emergency services, Shift workers, Flexible agreed hours for shift rotas.... where I can do so.
College and University students catered for and if eligible for paid funding from their finance department.

Karens looked after my autistic son since 2021. He is now 5 and absolutely thriving. She has helped us with so many things from advice about autism, schools and helping with arrangements around his SEN nursery and school placements. 1000% recommend Karen. Joseph will be with Karen for future years to come. She has eased the stress that comes with both parents working full time. 🥰

Karen looks after my daughter mainly after school. She is a lovely friendly person and my daughter loves her little dog trixi who is so friendly and good around her. Karen has a lovely play room for the kids everything organised and plenty of things to do in the nice weather in the garden, swings etc. My daughter has struggled with coming out of her shell and it's been a bit of a problem but since Karen has been looking after her she's has came on in leaps and bounds coming out of herself more and more! Karen has structure and is fair and my daughter has a great time there. I would highly recommend anyone looking for childcare to contact Karen she is brillient ?
