About Me
Hi, My name is Gill and I have been a registered childminder for over 20 yrs now, I live with my husband who works for the London Ambulance Service and our 3 daughters aged 30 to 21 years.
We provide a warm friendly 'home from home' environment so that the children feel comfortable and thrive in the family /homely setting with both dogs and cats which gives the children a wonderful opportunity to be confident and respect animals.
I have significant and varied experience through the courses I have attended since becoming a child minder and the qualifications from these.
Paediatric trained in first aid.
In 2019 was graded Good
I work with an assistant when required.
My Experience
Mother for 29 years.
Childminder for 20 years +.
Qualified in NVQ level 3 in Early Years
Trained extensively over the years in courses related to children's needs, welfare and education.
Fully trained in child protection/safeguarding children.
Work within the EYFS framework.
References from previous and current parents available on request.

Graded Good in 2019
NVQ Level 3 in Early Years
Paediatric First Aid trained.
Safeguarding Children to Level 3
Attend childcare related courses every year
My Availability
Service available - 8am to 6pm Monday to Thursday . At present I have a space for under 5s.
I also service Keston School and St Aidans (children of school age)
I will try to accomodate each parent's individual requirements.

Our children have been with Gill for almost 2 years and we are only ending our time there as we are moving from the area. Our kids (age 3 and 6) have always loved going to Gill's house as she does so many fun activities and they have made close friends with the other children. She offers a great balance of indoor/outdoor/fun/educational activities every day and they do lots of fun outings. She has been very accommodating and takes our older son before and after school and in the school holidays and some strike days when there is space which has made juggling parenting and working so much easier. A lovely small childminding setting which provides excellent care to the children.

Short-term care before moving out of the area for our 2.5 year old. Immaculate attention to detail. Every day was very entertaining. Adaptation managed perfectly. Within first five days in, the child stated asking to take her back to Gill's, imminently after being picked up in the evening.

I can honestly say the thought of leaving my child with somebody else filled me with dread but I could not be happier with the care Gill has provided. It really is a home from home, but dare I say it, more exciting!
Gill really provides a caring environment where children can thrive and become independent whilst feeling safe and secure and my son has certainly done this. There is a lovely mix of different aged children after school and they go out each morning to different groups, which has really helped with his social skills. He is always coming home with lovely art work, cooking and stories of the adventures he has had.
I can honestly say that he loves going to Gill's.
Gill is friendly, flexible and great at what she does. I am just about to return to work after my second child and am so glad not to have all the stress of childcare choices this time around - both my boys will now be going Gill's house and I couldn't feel happier about my choice.
