About Me
Welcome to Munchkins Childminding Services! My name is Samantha Briggs and I live with my husband, Steve and my 24 year old daughter, Emily. who works as a teaching assistant at a local Primary school in Chester. I also have a 27 year old daughter who no longer lives at home but has her own small business
We all have an enhanced DBS Certificate
Emily and I have been Paediatric First Aid trained.
We live on the new estate on the old Saighton Army camp, where there are plenty of parks and adventure playgrounds.
Our home is spacious, with a large garden, and plenty of room for your little ones to run off their energy.
We plan our days with plenty of activities incorporating the EYFS, trips to parks, the zoo, soft play areas and local woodland for nature walks
We visit local toddler groups
My Experience
When I left school I trained as a nursery nurse at college. I then worked at Dee Banks school in Chester and then as a nanny, looking after newborn twins and a 3 year old.
When my children were little I registered as a childminder, looking after children 0-8 years.
I also ran a toddler group at Northgate Church in Chester.

My daughter started at munchkins 2 years ago and what a change. Sam is great bellas come out of shell since being there and has made many friends. The environment is amazing and I can't thank munchkins enough for making me and Bella so happy

My children really enjoy their time at Munckins. Sam and Emily have proved to be friendly, flexible and fun. No concerns at all and I highly recommended Munchkins.

Sam and Emily have really made my daughter feel settled and at home throughout the days that they look after her. It has been lovely to see how they both care so much for her. I would highly recommend them both.

We moved to Sam and Emily in the summer holidays and can honestly say the children love it. They took the time to get to know the children and likes and dislikes before they started and centred the first few days around that to help them both settle. My eldest is 8 and youngest 3 at the time and spent full days with them over the summer holidays. The always run straight in and often moan at me if I’m early as they love it so much there.
They do days out which is fantastic and the meals have been home cooked and the kids have even said it’s better than my meals!
Emily has babysat for us too and they are both genuinely lovely people focused on the children. Can not recommend them enough.
