About Me
Hi my name is Nichola Palmer, I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I live in Ilkley with my husband and I have two children who attend All Saints' CofE Primary and Ilkley Grammar School. My priority is to offer a stimulating setting where the children have lots of fun and are happy. I offer the children a variety of activities and experiences both within the home and outside of it. I regularly attend playgroups, libraries and local attractions like Harlow Carr, Tropical World and Golden Acre Park. Within the setting we enjoy reading stories, messy play, baking and playing games. Outside, in the garden there's planting and digging in the raised beds, football, water play and mini beast spotting in the bug hotel.Both areas offer a wide range of toys and equipment. I offer care from birth to 10+ and offer school drop off and pick ups from All Saints' CofE Primary.
My Experience
I am an Ofsted registered childminder of 8 years. I have cared for children from 8months to 11years old.
My Qualifications
I am Paediatric First Aid trained and have a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering. I attend periodic training for Safeguarding Children and completed a City and Guilds Certificate of Unit towards Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce.
